I'm playing as Southampton in 2017/18 and I'm looking for a English center back. I believe stone is the best out there, but do you think he will develop anymore?

Stones turns out to be the finest English CB imho. Only some regens surpass him..
Eric Dier is a very good English CB as well.. as is Phil Jones.
Caulker, Shawcross etc are a level below them.

He is very good and can also play RB, Look at Caulker, Dier, Todd Kane, Liam Moore, Phil Jones, Grant Hanley, Craig Dawson, Jack Hobbs, Harry Maguire, Michael Keane, Michael Hector, Andre Wisdom, Joe Gomes and Dan Burn.
