Join reserve league?

I'm currently managing Tottenham and realised half way through my first season that my reserve team wasn't in the reserve league. Now I'm at the end of the season, is there any way to enter my reserves into the reserve league for the next season so my fringe players can get some games under their belt?

you should get an invitation to the reserve league a day or two before the next season starts

I'm managing Dynamo Dresden (starting in german 3rd league). Never got an invitation to a reserve league, not even after promotion to 2. Bundesliga.

If anybody knows how to trigger this invitation event I'd be interested to know that as well....

Equinox your'e Dresden reserve team is an actual second team like Munich 2, So they have to get promoted to the Bundesliga first.

BTW Savran is a beast so is Maik Kegel, Though I sold Wagefield when I got prmoted to the 1st Bundesliga, Then got Gyan for 8 mil.

But the point is, how do I influence the promotion of my 2nd team if there are never any matches ? Right now, I just don't put any players in the 2nd team, because they will never play anyway...
