What can preseason friendlies really tell us? Anybody watching Arsenal in the Emirates Cup over the weekend would have concluded that it holds the ball well, tends to overcomplicate attacks instead of fully exploiting possession and has a mystifying weakness at the back that can transform a game it is controlling into something senselessly nervous. But we knew that already.

BBC Sport is bad enough at times.

its not even a brittish site !!

its a American site who call it soccer

Stop with all the off topic bull **** please.

Either comment about the blog or GTFO.

Sigh. This guy is possibly one of the best journalists around at the moment. He's not some hack, he actually knows what he's talking about. Themadsheep (Mikey) and Zebedee have linked to some of his articles in the past so I assumed that there were enough people interested in reading interesting and well researched articles for once. But apparently not, so if you don't have the intelligence to comprehend what he's staying then just stay away from his threads.

Thanks.

I've read loads of his articles in the past - top reads they are. Lay off him.

His stuff is good. Better than a lot of the **** you read elsewhere.

Thats the most unrealistic table i've ever seen :P
Sunderland 17th? Spurs 3rd? Man Utd 5th? Your avin a laaf.

On topic though, I hope he's right, Arsenal really deserve to win something this year.

Jesus Christ what an epic fail, this guy is the best Football Journalist out there at the moment who actually wirtes about the game and not bollocks to do with wags and player's late night drinking sessions.

This stuff puts Sky Sports and 99% of other Football articles in the dark so try learning something.

To the mods on the site, please keep the bot running as even if no one else is interested it will be nice to have all his atricles condensed on the forum for me to read ;)

If people stopped slating the 'bot' and actually clicked the more link;
they'd find that it's a very good article where he comes up with a lot of valied points;

like many have said; Jonathan Wilson is one of the best sports journalists around atm, and steers clear of writing the **** most journalists do...
