I have replicated Jose Mourinho's tactical system at Chelsea 2014/2015 and i have won lots of cups.

We counter efficiently and defend tough!

Firstly, i will introduce my formations(4231-451-4141). My tactic pack also has Jose Mourinho's most famous system "Parking The Bus".We use each tactic for three situations.

If the opponent is not difficult, we believe we can beat them than we use 4-2-3-1

If the opponent is difficult but not bigger than our team, or if we need to waste time and keep the score than we use 4-5-1

Our last tactic is "BUS" this tactic is very special, we use it against teams which bigger than us such as, Bayern Munchen, Barcelona, Man. City and also we use it against Premier League's powerful teams Liverpool, Arsenal, Man. United. In this tactic "DMC" position is very very important he should have very good aerial and defensive abilities, especially "marking" and "tackling" if you do not have a player like this than you can use your one of "DC"s here.In real life Mourinho used David Luiz sometimes in Chelsea. ParkTheBus(4-1-4-1)

Before season training Defense/Very High Defensive positioning/Low
After and in-season training Defense/Average Defensive positioning/Average
But if you want to train your team different way, you can. This is just an advice.

OPPOSITION INSTRUCTIONS

I won Champions League, Premier League and FA CUP with Chelsea.

I won Turkish Premier League and Cup with Galatasaray, i have beaten by Barcelona in Quarter Final in Champions league.(I won against 2-1 at home but lost 4-2 at away.)

I might give this a go now! What's the skin? And any other results? Please!

A high def line on the "park the bus" tactic makes no sense.

It is not the same as real but it works.Idea here is is it working or no, for me. But you're right it is not sitting deep but it is defending hard.

so if it's not Park the Bus then why call it that?

Because it is.It is parking the bus as real but not like match engine's style. If you sit deeper match engine does not allow you to get a chance and if your defenders and team is not better than opponent you concede. But we want a succesful tactic as Mourinho's so i set the defence line high it is still defending deep because it's mentality "Defence" but it is also pressing high sometimes. If you try you will have an better idea or maybe whole tactic is garbage. You choose :)

I gave your tactical set a spin, very happy with them! I made slight changes, like the d-line, some PI on the DLP (S) and changed the APM (A) to an AM (A), minor things... and am now enjoying a lot! Fast paced football, very well balanced! How much assists did your APM (oscar role) and DLPD get?

can u share?

You can use the original version, is quite the same with the changes that i said to fit the players that I have in FC Porto. And if you like tactics with a solo triker, scoring more goals than number of games, without him being a F9... this is it!

It is up to player for example, Sneijder(He is a "unique" player i think.) was assisted more than Oscar(I could not get his best, i know.) and that posistion's average 30.Oscar did 24 in 35 games and Sneijder did 36 in 35.When i use system with a new team, sometimes it does not work at start of season and i only change my training methods to "Attack" or "Team Cohesion".At least if you enjoy than i enjoy.I like to share new things with people an get contribution from them.Thank you for your feedback.

Edit:Fabregas role made 11 assists.(I know it is not good as real but i didn't focus on getting best from Fabregas, i focused the how Chelsea is playing and how can i replicate it.)

I only asked 'cause with FC Porto I played Quintero as Oscar role and Herrera as Fabregas role. Quintero is a great player, got 18 assists but 10 from corners... And Herrera is not Fabregas and isn't skilled at passing the ball, so got "only" 7 assists. It's likely to improve those numbers if i change him for someone better at passing the ball, like oliver.

****

tried it for one game, lost 2-1 at home to bolton in the cup as crystal palace, terrible tactics.

I was playing with Feyenoord and had to play Barcelona in the second round of the Champions League. I won at home 5-3 (yes, very unrealistic) but got raped in the second leg (although I lost only 4-2). I figured it probably would have been better to play more defensively, but it always goes wrong when I try to tweak my tactic too much. So I decided to google a park the bus tactic, which got me here.

I tried this tactic for the same match (don't worry, I saved my original game where I lost under a new name). First time I tried, one of my CM's got a red card in the 5th minute and Messi scored 20 seconds later, so I decided to try again with 11 players, and it worked pretty well.

Stats say I got raped again, but it gives a wrong image of the game imo. They have a lot of goal attempts, but 9 of them were long shots and 8 were blocked shots. In the first half almost all of their danger came from set pieces. In the second half they pushed more obviously and they created some chances, but just one big one (FM says 2, but they were from the same attack (shot + rebound)). I created only 2 small chances myself, but since this is a park the bus tactic I won't judge it on the attacking part. :)

It's just one game, but based on this game it looks like a pretty solid tactic to me and I will definitely try it more often in these kind of games.
