yeah, I saw it the other day against Villarreal

unfortunately you cannot reproduce the proper behavior from the defense.

The outside CBs do not play wide at all, and never get forward (no matter what settings you use). If you set them to sidebacks instead, it leaves you completely exposed through the middle. Best bet is to put the outside CBs as DMs and play as wide as possible.

I'd also say Alcantara should be almost like a RM instead of a CM. He was essentially Barca's Right wingback who "cut inside" and "roams" although this too is also extremely hard to implement in FM.

It looks good, you can not download it or what?

It's just a picture of the formation Pepe uses. He wants people to help him make it.

As I've said, you can't really do it in fm11, probably not even in 12.

The formation would look something like this in FM

-------------GK

-------------CB--------LB

------DM----DM

RM---------------MC

--------AM------------AML

-ST/R--------STC

I don't know about roles, you'll have to mess around and find out.

Anyone else have any thoughts on this formation or my interpretation?

Gaah. Just tried this now. Trying to get the center-backs to play wide is a no-go, and playing full-backs/wing-backs leaves your center-back horribly exposed without playing a decent anchor-man. :S
