Alright so firstly I just wanted to point out is that this is not my idea this is actually Lippo255's idea and his thread can be seen here - http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/foot...r-stories/292799-c-j-lippo-life-football.html

So what I've done is added myself into FM using the Editor I am also running my http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/foot.../183887-australian-league-system-pyramid.html Database

Now seeing that my actual team that I play for (Lismore Thistles) aren't in the database yet I've gone with the Lismore Workers one of our big rivals so I hope I don't do that well for them :p

I've set my CA at 70 and PA at -8 with all other attributes and even position is randomised. I've also went with a 20 for my Manager staff role as that should make me a manager after I retire.

I hope to update this every day or two.

So now introducing myself Josh Weir -

I actually wanted to be a striker or somewhere around that attacking role so I'm happy about that

Wish I had a stronger left foot though.

The journey begins now!

Nice one mate!

Looks like you'll be banging them in, in no time with those stats!

First Season Struggle + New Club

Well then after making only making 1 league appearance (2 overall) I would say it has been a pretty bad or even terrible year for me. I did however score 2 goals in my one league game and also scored in the Waratah Cup. Were injuries to blame?

As you can see not really I did have a hip injury that sidelined me for 2 months but everything else was just the good old cold and flu.

Lismore Workers finished lowly 10th (out of 12 teams) in the NNSW Fourth Division an overall disappointing year for me and the club after the season preview had it as 3rd.

Some good news to take from this is that I signed with Melbourne Victory who finished 6th in the Australian Premier League (securing a playoff place) I hope to learn a lot while at my new club and it may take some time for me to crack into the first team I look forward to working with Ange (who stood down from his role as Australian Manager after finishing bottom of the Asian Cup Group.)

Australian Premier League Table. Newcastle Jets ran away with it in the end.

Also just noticed that I'm in the Australia Under 19s side I'm very happy with my inclusion in the side especially when I'm only 16.

Similar career paths so far mate, interesting to see where we both end up!

Will follow man! Just starting my own player story XD

First Season at Melbourne Victory

I failed to make a league appearance for the Victory this year but I did however score 26 goals in 39 games in non competitive football (friendlies, under 20s and under 18s etc) which I am quite pleased about to be honest.

I am also pleased to have signed a new professional deal with the Victory that will keep me at the Rectangular Stadium until 2018 I'll also be earning $975 p/w so I can't complain there!

I have also been promoted to the Australia Under 20s side which I hope I can solidify my spot as an International player.

APL Season Review

Sydney FC were crowned APL Champions of 2015/16 after defeating Canberra United 2-1
Melbourne Victory were knocked out in the semi final to Canberra United going down 2-0
Wellington Phoenix were relegated as rivals Auckland survived by one goal
Far North Queensland Heat were promoted from the NPL and will play in the APL next season

I did however lift the Mirabella Cup with the Victory following a nail biting 2-1 victory over tough NPL side Oakleigh. I was very pleased after getting on the score sheet early on, but Oakleigh kept on battling and in the 79th minute they equalised sending the game into extra time where we scored in the 116th minute. My first piece of silverware in my short career.

I could still see that it could be one or two years until I crack into the first team with some very talented players upfront. I'll do my best and train hard until that day shall come.

Australia International News
