Josip Ilicic - Why is he in the Palermo reserves?

Hej guys, i just wonder, why is one of the best Palermo player Josip Ilicic in Palermo reserves, although he play as MC, othervise he is more AMC :)

He play in the first 11 regular, he also scores almost every game... i hope in patch update that problem will be solved ;)

You can just move him to the first team, you know.
 
If you are Palermo then do what you did and promote him to the first team,
If your not Palermo then you have a chance to sign a good quality player

i don't see much wrong with this...
 
Iličič signed for Palermo this summer from Maribor. So his stats are not updated or something, so yes, unfortunately for us, but is he proves this year, maybe next year SI will get him better stats,
 
yes tnx for answers, i know that problem is not a bug, but it is pretty funny, he is one of the best wonderkids currently in the world (look at youtube :) )...and no, i am not playing with palermo, i ask that just because i was curios ;)

I have been toying with FM 2011 database a lot lately and I believe he's the most underestimated player in the whole database, his real life PA is probably around 177-178 and CA around 150-152.
 
Maybe he is a) unhappy b) transfer listed c) injured d) unfit e) poor form f) just plain awful

You can promote him, but this doesnt change a fact that his skills are horribly wrong and totally unadjusted to the skills that he actually possess.

sigh, it was based off the end of last season, not this season. he will get a boost in the next patch.

Well that's a different case to what the OP was arguing for. He was asking why he was in the reserves, not why he wasn't very good.
 
Just open up editor and correct? He was not always in Palermo starting XI and he was not intended to be this season. Injuries and a change in tactics made him have a role.
 
im with Palermo now has played 28 games 2 goals average rating 7.17
