So, this is a new story I shall be starting today!

The aim of it is basically a journeyman save.

And to win cups, leagues and awards, and to do it at more than one club, to show that I am capable of doing it at different levels and in different countries!

I want to break records, do things which are seen as impossible... I want to be a legend!

Starting with Sunday League experience, and unemployed, I will be going on a journey to turn myself into the best manager to have ever lived!

I am sure that this will have many highs and lows on the way to the top, and will also allow me to travel the world!

So lets get it under way shall we!

Job Hunting!

So after 5 months of going in and out of the job centre....

Being rejected after interviews with clubs such as Wrexham FC and Boston United FC...

I finally came across a team that are willing to give me a chance, after impressing them in my interview!

Well... the current crop of players we have isn't brilliant... but we do have some gems!

I will be trying a simple 442 for a while... don't want to try anything to extravagant!

GK: Scott Bevan is of good enough quality for us this season, and will be our main man in goal, where as Tommy Forecast... he won't be here long if I can find a replacement.

RB: We don't have one...

LB: Danny Blanchett is currently a good player at this level, and will be first choice, Uade is a good enough back up also.

CB: Very strong centre backs! Pele, Harris and loanee Osborne look excellent and will be filling the main 2 positions and the back!

RM: Atiku is capable of playing here, maybe need a back up!

LM: We have Ciardini but I do not have much confidence in him, new player needed!

CM: Very good players here as we have Atangana who looks incredible, as do Doherty, Donnelly and Ramsey, as well as loanee Sanderson!

ST: Chamberlain and Kabba look good, but could definitely do with 1 or 2 players for back up!

Summary

So... we do have some very good players in our side, but we do have some absolute donkeys who will be leaving!

A fair few players will be brought in over the next couple of months to add some strength and depth!

First aim is to get a RB!

Well... the clubs start to the season has been pretty shocking, just 5 wins 18 games in absolutely appalling, and we no haven't had a win in 6 games!

The club is predicted to finish 6th and this is definitely not the form of a promotion chasing side!

The club is currently sat down in 20th, 12 points off 6th, the position we are predicted to finish.

A lot is going to be needed to be done to improve the current form, the current crop of players certainly needs improving to help the form as well.

So my first job in charge is going to be a tough! But I am sure that we can still get top half this season!

So... my first game in charge did not quite go to plan! Chelmsford showed me that it is going to be tough for us to get back in form as they dominate us and give us the loss we deserve!

Think we did well to get 2 goals against them though!

Luke Daley | Johnny Cosgrove

So Daley comes in to become my first choice right mid, at 24 he is already at a stage where is already a good player to be first team, but also has room to grow!

Cosgrove is in to provide competition for one of the 2 striker positions! Even though he is just 20 he is already probably the best striker already in the side!

Looking forward to seeing these 2 perform!​

Still not got my 1st win... we did perform a bit better in this game, as we actually probably challenged for the win, our issue this game was that we couldn't hit the target to save our lives!

Loick Pires | Luke Jones

So Pires comes in to add more strength to the attacking department, naturally a striker, but also has the ability to play on either wing as well!

Jones has come in as our first choice right back! I think he is just of the quality and ability to start playing as first choice, but he has a lot of room to grow and has good potential with him being just 20!​

We came so close to getting our first win under my reign... didn't get it due to a very last minute goal... very last kick of the game!

We played very well and I thought we had done enough to get the win!

Reece Ottley | Bayan Fenwick

So Ottley has come in to become the new back up keeper, he has some great potential and will be challenging Bevan in a couple of years! Forecast has left of course.

Fenwick is an excellent player for this level and so glad we could bring him in! Naturally a left winger which is a position we needed to improve but can also cover any other attacking position!​
 
I was always thinking of doing save with a conference team but it just pains me when I look at my Porto players and then look at those players you've signed. Too much difference, would be a challenge for me to adapt. Good story though so far. Just don't overflow your squad ;)

Haha I know what you mean! Sucks seeing these players and then going onto the At. Madrid save or my newcastle save and seeing those players... :L

That has been a problem I have had before, but only signing 1 more player now and then thats it ;)

Actually have to be careful with the finances at this low level!
 
Really enjoy these stories started one myself with sunday league and unemployed have gone from ireland to wales to england to USA and in belgium so far

We finally get a win! We dominated them in possession but when they had the ball they created chances, so in that aspect we were lucky to get a win!

But we still got the win and I am so happy that we can now hopefully get underway!

So we have climbed 3 places and out of the relegation zone, now 2 points clear of it! Now to hopefully began a charge up to the table to try and catch up to our predicted position of 6th!

12 points behind but if we get a good run going I think we can do it!

So a draw was probably the correct result as it was quite an even game but thought we would have at least been able to hold onto the 1-0 lead and get the win!

Connor McLaren

A player brought in to challenge for the right back position! He is slightly better than Jones but I base selection over form not quality the majority of the time... so better put in some good performances if he wants to be playing!​
 
Tough start to your career...you'll come through, eventually.
