Yeah, I bought him near enough straight away, started him in one game, kept getting messages from Steve Bould about him not having the best game of his career and not hitting his shots on target, took him off and haven't played him since. Maybe I should give him more of a chance to blend in too.
I play them both at Liverpool with Borini rotating around, Suarez is a little better on the ball but Jovetic does score his chances more often I find.
Reading into the scout report a bit, Jovetic's main specific strength is his consistency. That's his main selling point really.
I really just don't like Suarez. IRL and in FM12. Yeah, he scored a lot but he got tonnes of bookings from diving and all that lark.
I have Ademilson, Wellington Nem, Borini and Pacheco (who is surprisingly decent) to rotate with as well, so it's not like I'd be short on strikers.
Got him in January 2014 with Arsenal. I intended to use the second half of that season just to acclimate him into the squad, rather than rely on him straight away (and we were doing well enough without him). He didn't supplant Llorente at striker, but he played brilliantly as an Inside Forward on the left wing, well enough to keep both Schurrle and Podolski out of the lineup for most of the stretch run towards the title.
He's become nearly undroppable, but not quite as much as Llorente, who has been performing miracles for me. I'm just going to rotate Jovetic between AML, AMC, and backup striker until Llorente's best days are behind him, at which point Jovetic will inherit his position full-time.
In short, I love having him. The 18.5M I paid for him seems more of a joke with every match.

Got him for my Manchester United save. Wanted to try him out as he always destroyed me when he played for Tottenham against me in FM 2012. Play him as an AMR Inside Forward, and was quite disappointing to be honest! Got 9 goals and 15 assists in the season.
Loaned him out to Valencia this season and he's doing pretty well for them in an AMR position too!
Might end up selling him at the end of the season as I can't find out when to play him as I've got Götze, Neymar and Oxlade-Chamberlain to play!

Which role are you people giving him as a lone striker? I plan to use him as poacher, and i put him to work on that tactical role in preseason.
Got him in Spurs to be my first choice (Adebayor as backup, Defoe third), but I have just started playing that save so I haven`t seen him play.

I bought him right at the start with tottenham and he's scored 18 in 17(2) appearances as well as 6 assists. Highest average rating in the league and most man of the match awards. Needless to say, I wasn't expecting that kind of form straight away, but he's been blistering. I paid 16.5M for him, great buy.
I bought him as well and he was average for me and very injury prone
I bought him for Bayern, first season, after having heard and seen people on various forums rave about him constantly for the last couple of years.
At first, he was brilliant, scoring 6 in his first 5 games. Since then he's been generally average, with some great performances and a few awful ones (so generally decent but not reliable enough for my liking) and his strike rate has dropped to 10 goals in his last 23 games. Still a strike rate most forwards would be fairly happy with, but Mario Gomez, who's also been quite unreliable performance-wise has blown him out of the water with 29 goals in his last 23 appearances. So while Jovetic hasn't exactly been bad, I've yet to be convinced he's worth the €20m and €98k p/w investment.
Recently I've stopped using him as my striker as he kept abandoning his position to go out wide and instead put him in the hole as a trequartista. It's early days as I've only used him there twice so far, but he's got a 7.5 and a 9.3, picked up a goal in both games and got an assist against Nurnberg, so I think I'll keep using him there and see how it goes. Which may end up spelling the end for Thomas Muller who's already become a backup player thanks to competition from Kroos and Adryan ...
