I don't know if I should even bother continuing with this save now. I can just pull a city and buy the league.

Opinions?

well it took city a few season to win the league, they are still awful in europe and havent shown themselves, giveit a go with liverpool, they will probably be better :P

I don't know what you're complaining about. In my opinion, you should do exactly that. In fact, you could even steal players from City, and then they'll have even less of a chance. That being said, the only players worth stealing from City are Silva and Agüero. And then get a decent keeper and central defence as backup to Reina, Skrtel and Agger, maybe if you've got money left a decent centre midfielder because Shelvey is terrible, and voilà! You've got a Premiership winning team. Then, you know, when you start losing, just blame the match engine like everybody else! It's definitely not down to the fact that you just completely reshaped your team.

I was actually being deadly serious before I got a bit sarcastic towards the end, but that's what will happen. Your team will have no cohesion as a unit if you start splashing the cash. Although, that's not to say you should start a new game just because you've got money to spend. Make a few sensible purchases and save what's left.

Buy a player from a league 2 club for the full £200 million. Then add a new manager manage then instead. See if you can win the champions league in 5 years.

the game is differnt now you cant just buy the best players and win it takes time to build up a cohesive squad, try and get the board to improve facilitys, youth networks, stadium exspansion and then spend a bit on a new player :)

This is the right idea. If you bring in players, bring in youth and slowly introduce them into your system. Make them available for your B squad. Also, try to bring in someone to provide leadership skills as this will help with the cohesion with the new players. What I tend to see a lot is someone bring in a bunch of players from say Brazil, but when they get on the field, they have problems because they don't speak the language. Make sure if you bring in players like that, you bring in an older player that can work with them on the field. If not, you won't get the best out of the players

Can't believe you're thinking about starting a new game. On my save, Liverpool are 19th and we're into January (2013) now...newsflash, their team isn't that great. As much as I hate Liverpool, I'd probably give that game a go....they've got some great youth players to develop, a first team that needs improving, maybe a new stadium to move to....sounds good to me.
