Keeper for spurs

Hi guys,

In pre season in my second year at spurs, finished second first season so have a very healthy budget although i have already spent a fair amount.

Anyway i let cudichini leave on a free despite him being a great servant for the club last season, and Man City signed gomes in the first season, so I am left with just Friedel.

I have tried and failed with a few already but does anyone have any ideas that me and my scouts may have missed? preferably english speaking and under £15m but we cant have it all haha :P

I would see if Rene Adler has resigned with Leverkusen, you may get lucky.. I have him coming on Bosman

Fernando Muslera is quality and underrated
Sergio Romero is very good too
Sirigu is good, maybe a little expensive!
Tim Wiese is quality, but lacks aerial ability and communication!
Igor Akinfeev also a little expensive

I would highly recommend: Mandanda has a release clause of £11.25m (he may have signed a new contract during the year though)

Thanks a lot for the help and reccomendations i wasn't expecting such a detailed suggestion. I have just offered a contract to Mandanda, I had already looked at him but you helped make up my mind. Hopefully it wont take him long to settle and learn the language but I always have Friedel as capable back up.

Incase you didn't get Mandanda i would say Ter Stegen, young and class.
 
cheers mate I did have a good look at him but decided on Mandanda, might sign Ter Stegen next summer when Friedel's contract runs out!

Its what I did with my Tottenham before the start of the second season. Only cost 15m and played really well for a 20 year old, was runner up for the golden gloves behind Hart. And I will have years more to come where I don't have to worry about buying a starting keeper.

I also bought Cavani at the same time so money wasn't an issue at the time.
 
Joe Lewis beast and costs just 150k, he`s very good but his stats are a bit ****

fabien barthez it`s a great gk for tottenham. also sign blanc
 
Rui Patricio was a beast for me at Sporting Lisbon. Or Stephane Ruffier at Saint Ettienne. He's absolutely immense. Got me into the Champions League almost single handed. Both young too and should only get better. Cheapish too.
