I disagree, I don't think it's that weak if you look at it, you've got Lassana Diarra and Gago there aswell, I don't see why they need Khedira unless they're going to sell either of those other two. I know Diarra has fallen out with Madrid from time to time so it's possible and Gago's been linked away from Madrid too so one of those two has surely got to go now.I guess he will be a replacement for Mahamadou Diarra and should be a good cover in what is a weak defensive midfield area.

Lucky for Madrid they haven't got this 25 man rule, otherwise they'd be fcked
Was Di Maria a Mourinho signing? That deal was agreed months ago, but only finalised in recent weeks. The new German lad is a very good signing -- he isn't fancy, but he does a good solid job. Not many teams could lose a player like Ballack and not feel his absence, but Germany did and, tbh, a lot of that was down to this guys talent in allowing more skillfull players to express themselves.
Mourinho had a final word in the purchase value, as he didn't want him for the 30 million € Benfica wanted for him initially. Mourinho only wanted to spend 20 million and the deal ended in an agreement of 25 million €.
