This is my first thread and my story of taking my local team Kidderminster Harriers to the top. (I'm a liverpool fan, in the case of any confusion). (Burton is not my real surname either.)
Goals
Season 1
1. To achieve a Play-Off Place.
2. To sign a player from a League 2 club.
3. To have an unbeaten streak of 5 or more. So now with my goals out the way, lets get onto the club.

Club Name: Kidderminster Harriers
League: Conference National
Founded: 1886
Ground: Aggborough: Capacity - 6,250 (3,140 Seated)
Chairman: Mark Serrell
Manager: James Burton
Home Kit: Red
Away Kit: Beige and Blue
Nickname(s): Harriers, Kiddy, Reds
Background: Kidderminster Harriers were formed in 1886 from a succesfull athletics and rugby club that had existed since 1877. 1885-86 was the last season the Harriers played rugby football before switching to association football rules. The harriers played games at Chester Road. In 1887 a rival club named Kidderminster Olympic was set up and rapidly became the best side in the area. In 1889 both clubs were founding members of the Birmingham and District League. A short while afterwards in 1891, the two clubs merged and became Kidderminster F.C. and entered the FA Cup and Midlands League, the club found things financially difficult as a professional club and exited the league in Spring 1891. Afterwards the team reverted its name back to Kidderminster Harriers and reverted to amatuer status. From 1891 to 1939, when World War II started, the Harriers played in the Birmingham and Southern League. In 1983, Kidderminster Harriers were promoted into the Alliance Premier League (Now known as the Conference National or Blue Square Bet Premier). The Harriers won the Conference in 1994 but were not allowed entrance to the football league due to strict safety regulations after the Bradford City stadium fire as the Aggborough main stand was made of wood. The Harriers were again promoted in 1999-2000 under the management of former Liverpool star, Jan Molby and this team were accepted into the Football League. The Harriers remained in the Football League until being relegated at the end of the 2004-05 season. Since 2005, Mark Yates has took charge, replaced by Steve Burr in 2009, trying to guide the Harriers back into the Football League, but now its a new face in management's time to shine. In 2011 Kidderminster Harriers are celebrating 125 years since establishment.
Honours
The Manager - James Burton
James Burton was born on the 29th of March 1969 in Worcester and grew up a keen footballer, Burton's playing position was Centre Forward. When he was 9 he was accepted into the academy of Birmingham City where he stayed for 8 years until he was 17. Burton was offered a first team contract at Dagenham and accepted. Burton was a regular for the Daggers and became a Dagenham and Redbridge player when Dagenham and Redbridge Forest merged in 1992 until he was 28 and was loaned to Yeovil Town. Burton signed for Yeovil a year after in 1998 and stayed until he retired in 2003 at the age of 34. Burton took his UEFA Management qualifications in 2004 and passed. In 2011, Steve Burr resigned from his job as Kidderminster Harriers, saying he had done all he could and in July 2011, Burton was hired as his replacement.
