Ok, earlier today, I was playing my FM game, hadn't saved in 4 matches, was doing well, 1st in D2 4 points ahead, with a game in hand...

All of a sudden... FWUMP... no electricity.

The guy fixing my moms cooker hadn't warned anyone he was switching off the mains power.

No problem, only 4 games lost... execpt, in the 3rd match, my captain and star player William Huck, broke his ******* femur, (which did not happen the first time around) ruling him out for the rest of the season and this sent my team into freefall!

We've dropped out of the automatic promotion places, but rallied and have held on to 4th place, With 1 game left we could theoretically gain 3rd provided results elsewhere go our way.

Should I replay it over and over till the results go my way? I'm sure we would have won the title had Huck not broken his leg!

aaah man i sorta know hopw you feel and it sucks balls

its happened to me but i lost my first 3 games crshed and then drew 1 and won the other 2 with no injuries :0

I truly believe that when this kind of thing happens you have the god given right to save before every single replayed game to get a similar result to the first one.

Hear that everyone GOD GIVEN RIGHT! I no longer feel guilty about gaining that promotion through slightly dubious playing methods! Thank you Wilson and thank you FM base!

similar thing happened with me i was playing with arsenal and some how lost 4-1 to psg worst game ive ever seen and then in the second leg i came back and beat them 6-2 i was so glad as we had not gone out of chapions league but then when i moved my laptop the power cable came and my laptop died bad times,

so i thought i would replay the game and must of done it about 4 times and never scored enough goals to go through, so personally i think you should just play on and not waste your time trying to replay games

Well, I ended up playing the last game of the season, and first time around both Tranmere and Stockport lost, and I leapfrogged into second, still some way of Gillingham who absolutely dominated the 2nd half of the season. Am currently in the off season, looking forward to D1 football! W00T!

No, you replay it again and again and again, even if it takes weeks for the results to come. Because JUSTICE must prevail at all costs. (6)

JUSTICE for all, all those oppressed by dodgy cooker repair guys, shady electric meters and stupid laptop cables!

I want to hear more stories of people who were screwed out of wonderful results or signings by electrical or computer glitches and we shall unite to form a union of oppressed computer mangers and demand that we are given real jobs in football management so it never happens again!

This is an old one, but my worst ever - I was playing CM 2, and had just eliminated Inter from the Champions Cup with Auxerre, seconds before a lightning eletricity fall ...

But I totally agree - real jobs are the only viable solution there ...

I've been in this position myself. I was playing as Celtic once and was playing Rangers there was 20 odd minutes left in the game and was winning 7 -0 then all of a sudden my computer overheated and crapped out on me, I was gutted.lol.

Happened to me y.day, was beating Airbus 2-0 (not a particulary good result really, but a win is a win). Money ran out in the electric meter, loaded game back up (i save after every game incase this happens) lost 1-0 through a dodgy pen :S
