KL 4-3-2-1 3MC v2 - my take on a 4-3-2-1

So I finally had a go on making a tactic for FM 16.3. It's a 4-3-2-1 but with a small twist, as I line up with 3 MCs and no DM or AM - there is already good tactics with DM or AM on this forum, besides I wanted something for clubs with good CMs.

Tested the tactic first in a pure Instant Result 120 games a season test leauge where it did good, but the final test was a real save with Real Sociedad SAD without using Instant Result, played the whole season with FMs own 2D enviroment, as watching +40 games would take forever. Ended 2nd in La Liga with Real Sociedad SAD, spending 575k £ on a single transfer.

For the corner setup, all credits goes to GobBluthJD as I borrowed them from his 16.3 tweak.

Before anyone asks; No i wont do player filters

Feel free to tweak the tactic, I just hope that people keep the "layout/line up" of the tactic and that you share your tweak/s

Supported - have you tried deep laying forward support or complete forward support?
Also don't refrain from using the more generic roles in the midfield CM defend CM attack etc

TC creator must know what he's tealking about:

I generally suggest the following as a good rule of thumb (consider the either/or roles as 0.5):

Very Rigid: 4-5 specialist roles
Rigid: 3-4 specialist roles
Standard: 2-3 specialist roles
Fluid: 1-2 specialist roles
Very Fluid: 0-1 specialist roles

I havn't tried the DLP or CF on Support or Attack, not yet at least, but i might test it as I see this tactic as a work in progress, and not a final "product"

About the generic roles in the midfield, i've tried quite a few tactics with generic roles on the cm positions with some diffrent results, but may tweak the BWM/de to a CM/de - but i'm trying to create something different, instead of doing what everybody else is doing

But don't get me wrong, good advice is always appriciated, as one can always get better to a thing, if one listens to advices and new ideas

With +1000 views on this thread, I wonder if any one has tried the tactic? I got some good suggestions from jesaustralia, which i'm gonna try out in a new save, with another club, but the more feedback, suggestions and opinions I get the better

I prefer amr is right footed and aml left footed, but in the save with Real Sociedad I used both Vela and Bruma on both positions, both players played well, assisted and scored from both sides.

I haven't tried yet as I have at least 2 tactics in the same formation that I have yet to try. One from Statistical Approach another I have downloaded from steam.

Had a go with Liverpool and my tactic, still as released as I wanted to se how it performed in another leauge, before trying to improve anything. Season went okay, painfully close top 5 in PL though.

Suspended players wasn't a problem, but some of the injuries was just a pain in the rear side - got Benteke injured before Sturridge got back from injury and got another injury and well at least my wings and midfield can make goals too

Sadly it didn't show any improvement in my initial test with a test save setup. So I can't really decide to press on with v3 in a real save, or just give up on tweaking it.
