Updated version of tactic mainly trying to improve set pieces. This is still tested without specified takers but may be beneficial. Still using standard OIs.
F9 TACTIC

DLF TACTIC

The DLF change should also work with Stargazing if CDs are preferred to BPDs

Gorando's suggested set up
I let right footed players take corners and free kicks from the left and vice versa. Full backs take throw ins.

as for the general tactic look for players who suit the rolls. Defenders with decent accelaration and mental stats, full backs decent crossing and dribbling (they will get a lot of assists!)
central midfielders dictate the tempo, they dont get much goals or assists.
Inverted forwards left foot on the right and vice versa, they cut inside and score a lot of goals from crosses
Amc both scores and assists much, makes many appearances in the box.

can i ask . how many goal /year u have with this set pieces corner? if is possible :)

I use Wills League to set up tactics as I still think it is best testing league.

may i ask , if u tested with an underdog team or medium club? i mean not favorite ? i ask that coz i mostly pick low teams i wanna know if its ok :) sry for questions :D

The Game is about squad building so I take the view that most players will not use underdog teams, so I don't set up tactics in this way. Also my goal is to win PL with Spurs original squad 1st season.

The independent testing leagues tend to show most of my tactics near the top so I assume they will work with underdogs. Stargazing tends to be near top and this is based on that tactic.

I used this tactic with Margate and they are not best squad in League.

Opposite foot tends to work well but with injuries you can still score if opposite foot is not available.

There will probably also be an update to this tactic as trying a few more tweaks with positive results.

I see you changed central defenders role, is it working better? BPD Role tends to narrow the availability of players suited for it.

Even with Margate the problem was more with F9 so I do have a DLF version now.

For DLF version I took of TM from fwd. Also, I addd hard tackling to IFs which I probably should have added to F9 tactic.

Knap do you have or plan to have a 4-2-3-1 tactic with wingers rather than IFs? Early indications of this tactic are great.

Do you mean Stargazing or Live? The Asymmetric uses wingers but with WM and DM or I think Black Knight was 451 with a winger and IF.

I'm using Live on one of my saves and it has started well but not even fully fluid with it yet. Think I'm a bit too OCD for asymmetric tactics, might try Black Knight or see if I can alter to a successful 4-2-3-1 with wingers. All the best 4-2-3-1 tactics seem to use IFs with crosses coming in from wing backs/full backs which is great but have some players with great stats to be wingers and want to utilise them as the main source of crosses.

The 442s would use wingers and I did have a pure winger tactic in 16.2 or 16.1

Knap - can you upload the version with DLF

This is the winger tactic - I used it with Spurs in 16.1 and it tested at 157 pts on Wills league in 16.2

Ramble on 4231 uses wingers and a very old tactic uses a winger
