Signed Donovan for Liverpool for £7.5m and he is immense! After one month he has played 12, scored 6, assisted 6, MOM 3, Av Rating 7.48.....In all competitions

Anyone else signed him?

I want to sign him but hes stats, ;/ and hes geting old.
 
Got him for everton, av rating of 7.31 pretty good, could have scored a ton more if he had better composure though
 
Well what do you expect? He's better than all but 2 of the Liverpool players..

That's a load of ****.

You can't really compare players who play in different positions for starters. Plus, I'd rather have Kuyt & Cole over him anyway.
 
where do you play him?

i brought him for my Blues side play him out wide right at home, and behind the striker away from home, he is immense although has been inconsistent at times!

scores important goals at important times though
 
i reluctantly signed him after seeing his stats,but hes really a good player,scored 15 in 1 season from AM
 
There are more stats to a player than those shown on the stat screen.

Donovan didn't get to where he is now by relying only on his physical talent.
 
He was unstoppable on FM 10, but I've signed him for West Ham and he has been really frustrating! He has scored 8 in 19 appearances, but 4 of those have been penalties. He's a great dribbler, and he often creates chances for himself, but it seems he can't finish in the new game, and he is far more selfish as well. To the author of the OP, how did you play him?
 
Im sorry to bore yours and im going to talk about FM10 problem is i havent played for months im an avid liverpool fan an thought of starting a new game an having to sell torres is not a nice one, i have searched all over for a january updat as i do have the summer one any help would be apreciated

Why would you spam this thread with your own problems, jeez... k**bs these days.

I got Donovan in the Demo for Sunderland, great playmaker, despite the age got the job done.
 
He's amazing for me as Birmingham, club captain and most consistent player by far!
