Hi all,

So I just signed Hugo Lloris for Man Utd in Jan of season 1.

I want to put him in the starting line up, however I am reluctant to due to the fact he cant speak english, and communication is key for keepers.

Should I just start him anyway?

If not, when should I start playing him?

How long does it take players to learn a language?

Will the fact that my second nationality is french help?

You should be fine mate. Do you still have the likes of Evra and obertan at the club??....If so, he should settle in okay....plus he has a strong personallity!!
 
as long as you have a english/french speaker ta the club it will help him on, someone like evra is perfect
 
i imagine IRL he will know a few words in english anyway.

best thing to do is use the likes of EVRA, or even buy a player on his recommendation i think it makes them settle faster.
 
He'll be fine, due to the other french speaking players at the club. He'll pick up the language fairly quick too, as he is quite adaptable. Although once he speaks English, he will play fantastically for you :)
