Laptop making lots of noise when playing fm.

I have a fairly decent laptop and have played past editions of FM no problem. However, on this fm my laptop's fan goes haywire when playing the game and is almost unbearable during the actual matches. Any advice on how I can remedy this? Cheers

clean it. turn off all background applications. get a cooling tray.

Your fan needs cleaning, not easy to do with a laptop but a quick vacuum of the vents will be a temporary solution, but if possible open the laptop up and use a dry cloth/air blower. FM is very processor intensive and will heat up. This is a common problem with laptops and if not sorted you may find your processor burns out, not a pleasant experience I can tell you (from experience).
