Laptop Specs

Hi, just about to buy a laptop with an I3 processor 3rd gen, but then realised it does not have turbo boost. Specs:Acer Aspire V5-171 11.6" - Intel Core i3-3217U 1.80Ghz - 6GB - 500GB - HDMI USB 3.0 Laptop - so with it only being 1.8GHZ, will that be enough to run FM2015 well? Thanks in advance! Neil

(any by 'well', I mean pretty fast - The min requirements say 'V/7/8: 2.2GHz+' so with the I3 being below this, is it ok - I don't know how I3's compare/work compared with older processors. Thanks

2.2GHz assumes a single core; the i3 is dual core with hyperthreading so it will run FM fine. What's your budget? You may be able to get an i5.

Hi Jimmeh, Thank you for you're response, I ended up ordering a second hand Acer S3 Aspire Ultrabook, it has an i5 which I think is dual core - will install footy manager tonight and see how it goes!
