Leadership stat???

The leadership stat, does it work in some funny way I'm not aware of? I signed Alvarez Balanta 2 seasons ago for Man Utd, my mate signed him 2 seasons ago for Everton so we were comparing. In my season his leadership is 2, in his its 13. It can't be that different even if we started our seasons in different patches.
 
Your friend might have trained his leadership, although even if he did the 11 stat difference still seems quite high.

Did your Balanta have the same leadership stats as your friend's when you signed him 2 years ago?
 
im not sure when i signed, i hadn't taken any notice, i know my friend didn't train his leadership (he's sitting next to me). All i can think of, it might depend on who he signs for, depending how big the club is and the players stature compared to the players already in the team???? I really don't know
 
A lot of attributes can be assigned randomly as in the editor they may be set to 0. This is done when little is known about the players specific attributes i.e. balanta could become a decent captain or he might not.
 
The same thing happens to his Composure on different saves. Sometimes it's 4 and sometimes it's 13. Not much is known about him, just that he is a 10 on the potential ability scale; however, most of his attributes are assigned randomly at the beginning of each save.
 
Yeap, Balanta has ALOT of randomised stats. The one that seems to make the most difference is his composure. For some people he is ****, as he has a really low composure, for others he has nearer 20
