Going to start a game tonight in League 2 and try to create a team that wins the Premiership, easier said than done I know.

Anybody done this on FM 2009? I tend to start at Championship level at the lowest and build from there but am going to try my hand and starting from lower league this time.

What teams do you reckon would be good to start with and what advice would you give me?

people have brought clubs from confrence to the champions league so i would assume someone has done it for league 2

i would try accrington stanley just cus i love thwm. owned by a milk ad.XD

in league two if any i would choose bradford and sign players like seyfo soley
for my lower league teams i use a simple 4-4-2 tactic but make it very attacking and attack using the wings

Bury are a decent team in league 2 which have a 'super striker' (Andy Bishop) with some decent players in the squad and who a decent manager could do things with. Not a total walk in the park, but a fair challenge in balancing the books while progressing.

In real life they got a playoff spot, in most games I've run they've been hovering above relegation by the middle of the second season.

General advice about managing down at league 2 level is to keep things tight at the back and not go crazy on attacking tactics. Do the footballing basics well and your team will win more then they lose.

great advert lol

I haven't played it for a while but I got Bradford to the Championship in 3 seasons. In my fourth season I was only a quater of the way in and was in the playoffs.

Well, as you can see in sig, Aldershot up to the Premier League
