League Champions, but very annoyed!!!

I've just the won the league for the 3rd year running, and instead of being happy I am absolutely fuming. I spent the entire season 10pts behind the league leaders, then put together a decent final run in. With 4 games to go I beat the league leaders and took 1st place. I then went onto lose against Liverpool which was fair enough, then comfortably beat Newcastle, leaving me just needing a draw against 15th placed Bolton on the last day of the season. I knew what would happen next, because the same thing happened when I won the league 2 year before. We were absolutely dreadful. 2-0 down after 15 minutes. It didn't matter what I did, everyone was useless. Mean while Arsenal were beating Blackburn 1-0 which meant they were heading for the league title. But surprise surprise Blackburn equalised in the 85th minute and I won the league.

It's absolutely pathetic. This blatant programmed Hollywood ending has really ruined what should have been a really proud achievement for me, and I'm not sure I can be bothered playing it again. Sort it out SI!
 
at least u won the league the oppisite happened to me with celtic i bet rangers 5-0 and was miles ahead in the league then rangers won it in the last day:S
 
you can't blame the game for that, it isn't scripted it's all down to a variety of variables.
 
That happens in football IRL too, ya know... Back in the 90s Blackburn lost to Liverpool 2-1 and ManUtd were poised for the title but they could only manage a 1-1 draw with West Ham. Therefore Blackburn won the title.
 
I know what you mean but sometimes that happens. Don't lose your love for the game just because of stupid endings.
And you won't be moaning about this when you come 2nd next year. :)
 
Atleast you are winning the league. I cruise the first half of season then my team decides to not score and I lose. I just played West Brom off the park to lose. They didn't even have a shot on target!

If you knew someone would say it, why make the thread?

I went three years without winning the league, but then I improved my squad within those three years and in the latest year went on to win the league, the Champions League and the Carling Cup. As well as the World Cup. Then I just sat back with a can of Coca-Cola and dwelled in my achievement.

It happens.
 
In one of my saves Arsenal had to win against Newcastle to be champions and Necastle had to win against Arsenal to save from promotion. Newcastle won 2-0 and ******* chelsea got the title. Football is exciting man!!
