Leave club without having to resign

Hello guys is there a way to leave a club in which I no longer have a contract than having to resign? When my contract expires a month-by-month contract is automatically generated and I would like to leave the club. Thanks in advance!

Without sounding smug or contrary; that's what the resign option is there for.
Do you want them to fire you or do you want the option to reject the month-to-month contract?

As far as I know, when you are out of contract, you're put on a monthly rolling contract that will be in effect until either party walk away

No, you won't leave automatically. You have to resign. AFAIK, there aren't any negative consequences to resigning after your contract has expired.
