I'm in the January transfer window of my first season with Spurs and I don't know if I should renew King's contract. After his injury at the start of the game I played him once and he got injured for two more months. Around December he was back and I played him and he got injured again. So he has played 2 games so far and he is taking 50k a week out of my wage budget. The problem is that he is a Spurs legend so it will upset the fans if I let him go. My other defenders have been awesome, all averaging over 7.5. I'm currently using Kaboul and Vertonghen and rotating them with Bassong and Gallas. I have Caulker coming back at the end of the season and I have bought Prestia who is getting tutored by Gallas. Any thoughts?

I might sell Gallas as well at the end of the season because his stats are declining a bit since he is soon gonna hit 35. Has anyone used Gallas in the second season of the game? Is he worth keeping around at 75k a week for one more season?
 
You can get around £2.2m for Gallas, Sevilla normally offer! sell him at the end of the season!

I kept King for 2 seasons, he was class :) but if he is injured 90% of the time, then you might want to get rid of him! The board will hold it against you for like 2 years though (if you do well and win most things like I did) but who gives a rats ****!

Think of bringing Tiago Llorri in as well, he signed for United in one of my saves and became and England regular :) even though he is Portuguese!

Nicolas Otamendi or Sakho are good players for Tottenham
 
I decided to renew his contract for one year and I'll see how he does. What are your thoughts on Caulker btw? Is he worth developing? Besides the fact he is homegrown, will he ever be worth the 'trouble'?
 
He was decent, I had him as he was on 3k a week salary, used him several times ;) good to make up the HG numbers on such a small salary!

Caulker was the 193cm guy hey?
 
Yes, the one that was out on loan the first season. His stats look decent but I don't think he'll ever match the likes of Prestia or Ilori but I'll have to keep him around for at least 2 seasons to match the HG requirements, especially if I let King go after the second season. (hopefully he'll be interseted in a coaching job at age 32 :p)
