I need a left back who can be a long term replacement for Ally Cissokho at Aston Villa.

Idearly he will be a cheap option, with a good profit margin to be made on him in the future.

If he could play back-up to Cissokho during the second season and play during cup-games and europe that would be ideal.

Any suggestions?

You're in 2nd season ? Then Jonathan Silva defo !
Or Grimaldo,Digne,Willems,Rahman...

Grimaldo from Barca?

Eder Alvarez Balanta can play CB and LB though and can be picked up for cheap with a good profit to be made off him.

Digne is at Man Utd.

Scouts said that Willems wasnt worth signing also?

In terms of Grimaldo - They want me to meet his min fee which is 30m.

I already have Balanta but i play him in the middle with Vlaar or Okore.

Silva - they want £50m even though he is only valued at 550k.

Rahman - they want £34m.

Aissa Mandi - 8m incl instalments is your man. He is equally adept at rb

Or look at Timothee Kolo .. something (plays at Sevilla)

Going with Timothee Kolodziejczak as the others are already at other clubs or are demanding crazy money for them

Neil Taylor, Luke Garbutt, Joel Ward, Adrian Marin, Bryan Oviedo.

Also don't always listen to your scouts, If you like the look of the player and they have the stats to play the role you want then they will usually do a job for you. A good example of this is Adam Vass usually 2 star rating but hes a beast of a DM.

If you can get him then Luke Garbutt. During my 2nd season with Everton he knocked Leighton Baines out of the first team. Great ability and very consistent as well.

If he's not too expensive, then buy Montoya and retrain him to leftback. That way you have a first team leftback and a backup rightback (though he's good enough to play in the starting-11) Her performs perfectly on both sides :)

I'm not too sure about the price but how about

Emre Can
Sime Vrsalijko

I got Schmelzer in my first season, he has been pretty good but i would say go elsewhere

Definitely try and get Balanta (6mil), he is a beast in this game

Fabio Daprela of Palermo can be got for around 1-3mill and you wont regret it.

Bought him for Man United and he has actually outperformed Luke Shaw! I have no problem playing him in the biggest games, he always plays solidly.
