Hello everybody
just started a new save as leicester manager, so far i have bought
john fleck from rangers
Mark Viduka- Free Agent
Steve foster from barnsley
and gael kakuta on loan from chelsea till the end of the season

please feel free to comment and any players, tactics etc you reccomend to me i will be grateful for
i also managed to have manchester united as my parent club

first game of the season. beating swansea 3-2. went 3-1 up with golas from kakuta twice and solano. swansea pulled a consolation on 70 mins but by then it was over.
then played port vale in a league cup match 2nd round , they took the lead after 3 mins through dodds, lukas prosser scored an own goal for port vale... 1-1... after that i had total control game and scored on 68 mins though paul gallagher, scoring a placed finish.. on 84 mins i finished the game off with john fleck making it 3-1 after getting played through down the middle by richie wellens and fleck converting a placed shot.
all in all proud of how everything is goin so far and hope it keeps going.

Agreed, we need some screenshots mate :)

Mark Viduka should be banging some good goals in, I rate him :)

Lol, i think I've looked at three stories today and on two of them you've been talking up your layout!

Not saw a Leicester story, so might pop in now and again.
 
next up i had ipswich, decided to field 4 5 1 as i was away. i started the game strongley and has the majority of the possesion. 0-0 after the first half, and i looked the more likely team to score. but it was ipswich who struck first through david healy scoring a penalty after foster had bought down lee martin in the box, he had been causing me problems all game and it was only a matter of time before he caused some realy damage. i changed to attacking formation and decided to bring on fryatt for fleck who had been quiet all game, almost immediatley afte coming on fryatt scored a tap in on 82 mins... 1-1 !! things were looking good then straight from the kick off left winger lee martin got played through , crosses it in .. and healy pops up with his secong goal of the game to kill leicester off .. the game finshed 2-1 to ipswich. im pround of my teams effort, goin away from home and goin back with i win is not easy , and i just missed out here .

next up it was sheffield united away. I knew this would be a tough game so i decided to play 4-5-1. the first half was dominated by the blades and i rarely had a decent attack. chris weale made a string of good saves to keep it 0-0 end of first half i switched to counter to see if i could grab goal in the second half. i started the second half well and made a few good chances , mark viduka having one of my best ones when he turned on the edge of the bix and shot first time, only for the keeper to turn it around the post. On the 83rd minute james harper picks the ball up on the edge of the box and floated in a cross, henri camara knocked it on and stephen quinn poked it in past weale. 1-0. the game ended 1-0 a good effort by my lads.

next up ... barnsley at home. i firnly beleived i could win this fixture. i started off well with the ball coming over the top and the goal keeper missing it and viduka ran on , all he had to do was put the ball in the open net, unfortuanetly he slipped and the ball got cleared. on 19 mins hammil scored a stunning free kick from about 25 yards. 1-0 to barnsly. on 36 mins viduka had the ball on the 18 yard box and played a lovely through ball to the young on loan striker martyn waghorn. he cooly slotted home the ball in to the net. 1-1 !! . i started to push on for another goal and on 43 mins i got exactly what i wanted when wellens from center mid played viduka down the flank and he crossed in for waghorn to convert his second of the game!! 2-1. second half began and i changed to control and hassle opponents , also decided to bring on john fleck on for lloyd dyer on the left as dyer was very tired. on 48 mins barnsley should and could have equalised when hammil again got set up on the edge of the 6 yard box and hit it first time only for it to be saved by the flailing hand of chris weale. Then on 49 mins bogdanovic picked up on a loose ball and bang! the ball hit the back of the net. 2-2 !! on the 68th minute daniel bogdanovic ran down the wing and got tackled , the ref said he dived , bogdanovic recieived his second yellow of the game ... off! 72nd min, mcgivern travveled down the line, swang in a superb cross right onto waghorns head, and bam!!! goal ... 3-2 to the foxes !!! after the goal i decided to change to defensive tactics and just hold the game out, and in the end i held out for the win. i was very thrilled and proud of my team for battling on and on:D

next fixture for me was hull city in the league cup. i strongly beleived we could win this knowing tht hull were sitting 20th in the premiership and only managing to score 2 so far this season. on thr 7th min hull scored a pen through jozy altidore after being fouled by the keeper weale.
1-0
and on the 30th min hull scored again through geovanni header crossed in by hesselink.
2-0
on the 60th min barbmy got playrd through the middle and coooly slotted home for 3-0. this has been a very dissapointing game for the foxes

in the end lost 3-0
 
To do a screenshot, simply create a screenshots folder in your FM10 folder, and press alt f9 to take the shot. To upload to FM Base, click go advanced, and upload what you want by clickin the paperclip icon.Hope that helped;).
 
was considering doing a Leicester story myself. We could maybe have a challenge :P

next game was blackpool at home
1-0 up through waghorn again !!! :D
then omerod scored a header . 1-1
then fryatt made a amazing run and then slotted in the back of the net
2-1
game finished 2-1 good won for my lads :D
 
no when your in your game press alt+f9 and the screen shot will be saved in your folder. then when your posting click on the paper clip and select the screen shot from your folder.
 
every time i click on the paperclip it opens up a new tab with all the threads

next match i had was peterborough, they are 22n and i beleived i could win this
i started with fryatt and viduka upfront as waghorn was injured
and on 12 mins , a great dribbling run by viduka , he setup fryatt to place in the bottom corner of the net
1-0 great start!
then on the 27th min it got even better as viduka got played through on the corner line and somehow managed to squeeze the ball into the net, his first goal for the club!
2-0!
the game finishes 2-0 and brings me up to 5th in the table
hopefully i can keep this up :D

next i had watford who are 23rd in the table
i knew i had brill chance of winning this and it could have taken me up to 4th or 3rd
i started the first half well and created a few chances and attacks
on 23 mins watford had a free kick on the edge of the box, it was whipped in by lansbury and nodded in by shane duffy
1-0 to watford
2nd half begins
but then on the 56 min robbie nielsen ran down the line and played an inside pass to danny n'guessan whi then played a lovely through ball to gael kakuta he then drilled a brilliant first time shot into the corner
1-1!
on 6o mins watford had a fine move going and helguson played a high thorugh ball to cleverly who made it 2-1 to watford
2-1
then on 62mins viduka bursted into the box and got brought down by andre mariappa.. penalty!!!
viduka makes the run upto take the pen and .... scores!!!! bottom corner right
2-2!!
the game ends 2-2 what a game it was too
im proud of the effort my boys put in today like all my other games i kept battling on and on

next i had preston and got off to a bad start as parkin headed in from a long throw in
1-0
on 50mins solano on the corner of the 18yard box smakced a hard drive into the top corner
1-1!
the game endds 1-1 and im a bit dissapointed with my boys performance but oh well :)

next i had middlesborough away
i started off the better team and socred on 30mins through andy king after he got played in on the edge of the box and shot a low drive into the corner of the net
1-0!
then on 39mins fleck got brought down by mcdonald and converted the penalty in the bottom right corner
on 60 mins fryatt got the ball in the box and played through gallagher to finish making the game 3-0 !!
the game ended 3-0
whatta win :D

next up was coventry away
i started badly and they took the lead on 30 mins by francis' low drive in the bottom corner of the net
waghorn then scored for me on 65 mins, a header from a king corner
1-1
then on the 86th min eastewood broke away into the box and scored :(
2-1
but the game wasnt over when viduka got brought down in the box and the ref gave a pen
solano stood up to take the pen .... and scored !!!
2-2 end of match

next i had derby county away.
on the 36 min , i won a free kick ,it was whipped in by fleck and tunchev headed it in
1-0!
then on the 45 min in the 1st half the ball got headed straight down the middle and waghorn lached on to score his 6th of the campaign
2-0!!
in the second half i dominated again and the game ended 2-0 !!
good win against my rivals :D

ive jus mdae to new signings , fran merida from arsenla for 2 million and benjani from man city for 1.5 million
 
Benjani and Merida... How did you afford them... They will fire you to the Premier League and keep you in the Premier League.

Well done on the good start and can I ask where Plymouth are in the league?
