level 10 to level 1!

Hello Guys, decided to take advantage of the editor files and downloaded the level 11 english leagues but as there wasnt any local teams in level 11 i am starting from level 10, i'm going to try and update this story as much as time allows me to but hopefully i can progress through the season quite quickly!

So my plan is to go up through the leagues and get to the premier league i don't expect to get promoted every season but i am going to give it a good crack!
The team i'm going to manage is Pegasus Juniors a local team from hereford.

so theres not much background about the team at all hopefully that will change...

the squad report shows we are very short in positions, but its good to see all the current ability and potential is high so thats positive. I am going to sign at least 3 players for each position and i'll build around my current players with any players coming in having an amateur contract, the plus side about this league is the transfer window dosent close until march so i can keep bringing players in if needs be.

Just popping in with a quick update about my first month in charge!
Started off a bit nervy losing the first league game and drawing the second but after that every thing was much more positive including a 7-0 thrashing! So currently lying 2nd in the table which is quite comfortable.
View attachment 417577Also into the last pelimenary round of the FA cup so finances have been really good this month gaining a profit of around 25k!

View attachment 417576This lad has really done the business for me this month to with 8 goals in as many games!
his strength and determination makes him a real big influence on the pitch..

managed to sign quite a few good 16 year old regens that I'm gonna slowly bring into the team when i think there ready or give them the odd chance here and there, hopefully show their worth and claim a place in the first team for next season.

Next Update: next update will probably be about January time now and i'll show an overview of my results and hopefully a good FA cup run too!

Just got to January currently sitting in 4th, out of the FA cup lost to Walsall in the 1st round and only 2-1 but they were all over me. finances are on a rise and for the next 3 seasons i think it will continue to be like that especially if i can do as well as i have this season in the cups.

Also news within the club is that the chairman is looking to sell the club but we've had 3 takeovers collapse so far so maybe that might happen next season, i just hope the new owner doesn't plan to put us up to a semi professional club to soon!

so all i need to do now is sort our indifferent league form out and beat the teams i should be beating and get that first promotion.

Next Update: should be me getting promoted at the end of the season and just giving an overview of how the season went!

So i finally come to the end of the season and I've won promotion! one of my top goalscorers also left half way through the season so found it really hard to replace him as any of the potential replacements i had were not scoring on a regular basis, but my target man who i mentioned in the first update managed to be my top scorer in all competitions with 25 goals.

Finances are strong obviously most income was from prize money, hopefully have a repeat of that next season!
also should be able to keep expenditure to a minimum again next season as I'm sure I won't have to start paying wages, need to raise as much money as I can so amateur contracts will remain at least until i get to skrill north/south. Had a new additional sponsor as well which is good to see!

I tried to keep it local with some of the players i signed had quite a few players i know leave as well which was quite annoying haha

since the transfer window started I've lost a couple of first team players and a few fringe players but ive managed to get players in that could do the same job and cover positions i lost.

most of the players i signed are full backs and cm's as that's where the positions depleted the most, my winger left though so had to settle with an experienced winger to replace him, no biggie.

should come up big for the club when called upon!

interesting news however in the development of the club we have now turned semi-professional! uh-oh. hopefully still keep the spending to a minimum though.

Just in case anyone wanted to know who won the world cup it was Germany on penalties against Croatia, England disappoint yet again being knocked out by turkey in the quarter final.
