Good morning,

For once I am going to ask for your help in looking for good bargains for my Leverkusen save I am about to start.

Please do not mention the usual players like Okore/Ademilson/Adryan/Felipe Santos/Wallace etc etc as I know pretty much everyone of them and more...

I am looking for quality players like these two guys who I admire and want similar types of players. More unknown players like these chaps that I can bring in.

My budget is around £5m but I will be offloading a few players and will update the amount as I go along..

lol, from all the help I give you people, I get nothing in return :P

The Dutch League is always good for hidden gems, as is Belgium, Ryan Donk is beast but you being the player "God" you probably know this. lol

do you have a future SS? shot!

Sadly not :/

Have you taken a look at Caprari from Pescara Under 20s?

Samuel Umtiti from Lyon?

Jerome Roussillon from FC Souchaux?

I am assuming you want some good young defenders as the last two I mentioned are.

This is what I have done so far:

  • Okore and Ademilson are first time purchases for me, only played 4 seasons with United on Fm13 so far
  • Kweuke is a first as well, I have seen him around the forums and of course on my games, I wanted to try a defensive forward tactic with Kiebling as well.. two DF's 442 :)
  • Oskar I saw last year and did a bit of research on him and he seems to turn out really well, so giving him a shot
  • Jonas Svennson I found in Fm12 already and loved him, he is even better this year
  • Kevin Grobkreutz was a great deal for me, straight swap for Castro who had really **** mental stats and was not going to fit in anywhere for me

off for the weekend now, will see who else I can bring in

Nve one getting Grosskreutz dude!!! i am just about to do a Leverkusen save!!

haha I just wanted to recommend you takashi inui and kiyotake :D I try...Patrick Herrmann is classy winger

Erm,

Seb Boenisch lb/rb (free)
Carles Planas lb/rb from Barca "B".
Djamel Abdoun/Paulo Machado - Olympiacos

?

Also:

Maniatis/Torosidis - Olympiacos
Diego Angelo - cb
Anderson Martins cb

I bought Lucas Zen for his release clause of £1.8m to cover CB/RB and CM :) he has good potential

I also got Strandberg for 500k to cover CB/CM and hopefully make some money off him in the future! He has good stats

Michael Kadlec has picked up an injury and will be out for 6 months! (fun start)

Strandberg is a god both at dm and cb. Use him and he ll quickly become a fixture in your team. Better than KARA if you factor in the money rilly.
Look also at Almeback (maybe not ready yet for leverkuzen but a decent cb.

I would also recommend:

Joaozinho (plays at KRASNODAR I think)- he was great in 2012 he's even better this version. Winger.
Elton at INTERNACIONAL is quite good also (dm)

Others Id recommend:

Kieza - young cf at NAUTICO
Rogerinho- Winger/AMC at NAUTICO
Rayner - ditto.

cheers pal :)

window closed, managed to sign Jadson for £6.25m for a bit of creativity and attacking

iturbe at porto.. nobody seems to rate him but becomes a brilliant inside forward if you persist with him.. can be picked up reasonably cheap aswell

I'd be wary spending all that money with Leverkusen (even though you've made a profit), I'm sure you noticed the bank loan starts being re-payed in late August. I'm in March now and despite success on all three fronts (4th in the Bundesliga, semis of the DFB and qualified from the Europa League group) find myself in £16.5m-worth of debt. I only bought in loans in the summer window and signed Andreas Cornelius as back up to Kiessling for a mere £1.2m. For the first time ever on FM I've received a message in my backroom meeting advising "restricted transfer activity" telling me to focus on the youth teams as a result of the dire financial situation. Luckily the chairman is an underwriter so if it does get any worse then he'll clear some debts. I'm hoping the success continues and I can make some cash come June anyway, but thought I'd give you a warning. They've got some very promising kids in the u-19 side, in particular Kohr who when given chances off the bench can impress. If things don't improve over the summer I'm tempted to cash in on the likes of Schurrle (26 mill) and Bender (23.5 mill) just to balance the books. Also, try offering some players new deals (Rolfes and other top earners) they're usually willing to take a bit of a pay cut.

I could recommend you Cidinho, Hernan Perez, Mario, Moi Gomez
