It was the 8th of July 2014. The Crewe annual Youth Intake had just happened. The HoYD, Dario Gradi had just rushed to the manager, Steve Davies. This is what they said:

DG: I have good news boss!

SD: What is it?

DG: I think we may have found a star in the making here at Crewe, a tough tackling CB.

SD: What's his name then?

DG: Lewie Roberts.

SD: What stats does he have?

DG: -hands over sheet of paper- View attachment 279280

SD: Nice, let's just see how he gets on in the U18s for now, he is only 14.

Lewie Roberts - The Teen Prodigy: The Past

Back when I was a young kid, playing on the yards of my former Primary School, my main position was as a CB. I felt natural playing there, like it was my destiny. I tried other positions, such as GK and ST, but I just didn't feel like I did my best there. I was often a member of the School football team, winning tournaments, however minor. When I was 12, I moved to my Secondary school, where I am now, and I was focusing more on my studies, but I still had time for Football, especially at Break and Lunch. I needed to improve my fitness and physicality, and I have advanced loads since Primary. I am still only in Year 9, but my main focus is playing Football. In Year 8, when I was playing an football tournament, some scouts from Crewe came down to the tournament and started watching all the players, but they spotted me. They thought that I had mass talent and that they invited me for a trial. My mum and dad drove me to the training sessions for 1 week, and it was clear to see that they were impressed. I may have a slightly hot temper, but my qualities shine through, especially my Heading, Marking and Tackling. On my 14th birthday, they offered me a contract to train there until July and then they would make an offer for me if they thought I had quality. Well, turns out they did, on the 8th of July, 2014. This was my time to prove, that I have the quality!

(I know I'm catching on with the trend and that. :P Credit to Lippo255 for starting all this, he deserves all credit. I set my CA at 95, and my PA at -9, if that's Ok with you guys. :) )

It has been a great time here with the lads so far, and I'm happy here in Crewe. My Birthday was mad, all the players were celebrating a young prodigy's 15 year old birthday, it was weird that they celebrated it, but that can only be good for me!

That's right, I've signed a pre-contract deal at Crewe, when they offered it to me, I was more than happy to accept!

Well, am I shocked at this! Already, I have made my Pro debut! I am extremely proud to have made my debut at the tender age at 14!

Nice to break records! Now to hopefully aim for the youngest ever goalscorer! :)

It's been a ride, a very good one should I say. First, I was given my 1st team debut at the age of 14, making me the youngest ever Crewe player. In these months since, I have made games for both the 1st team, and the U18s. I even made 2 appearances in the Capital One Cup. Cards wise, I have had only 3 yellows in all the games, and no reds, so it seems that my aggro has calmed down a lot!

What a 1st season! 18 games in the league, 2 games in the Capital One Cup and 26 appearances elsewhere! And I'm only 15... But, there is a worry. What if I hit my prime way too early? But I just want to play football ATM, so nothing to worry about. I did score a goal in the U21s, and actually got 2 assists for the 1st team!

We did it! We survived, even though we were predicted to be last! I'm pleased for this club, but I may no longer be here next season...

Yes, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City and Man Utd are after me... The ONLY club I wouldn't mind out of them is Man City, because they have top players, and I hate Chelsea and Man Utd...

Well, this has been... different. When I first came into this football club, I was scared of whether I would be wasted. But I was wrong. The facilities are great here, and I feel I have developed brilliant. 24 games in the U18s League, 6 games in the U19 Champions League and 1 game in both the U18 and U21 Cups. In the U18 league, the assists came rolling in, 9 assists in 24 games! I ended up being the 2nd highest assister in the league... Wierd for a CB!

The Comeback

June 1st 2017

Well. I have certainly enjoyed my time thus far at Chelsea! On the day I wrote the yearly update, I was chosen to play a sub appearance for Wales vs Spain

Unfortunately, we lost that game 2-1. At club level, I feel I had a good season, having played 54 non competitive apps, and contributing 6 assists. I had an Avg Rating of 6.95 as well, which is good for a 17 year old!

Chelsea's 1st team ended up winning the Champions League against Newcastle (oO)) and they came 3rd in the league, so they did quite good to be fair!

Winning the Champions league against Newcastle? Now there's a sentence i thought i'd never hear! ;)
