It was the 8th of July 2014. The Crewe annual Youth Intake had just happened. The HoYD, Dario Gradi had just rushed to the manager, Steve Davies. This is what they said:
DG: I have good news boss!
SD: What is it?
DG: I think we may have found a star in the making here at Crewe, a tough tackling CB.
SD: What's his name then?
DG: Lewie Roberts.
SD: What stats does he have?
DG: -hands over sheet of paper- View attachment 279280
SD: Nice, let's just see how he gets on in the U18s for now, he is only 14.
Lewie Roberts - The Teen Prodigy: The Past
Back when I was a young kid, playing on the yards of my former Primary School, my main position was as a CB. I felt natural playing there, like it was my destiny. I tried other positions, such as GK and ST, but I just didn't feel like I did my best there. I was often a member of the School football team, winning tournaments, however minor. When I was 12, I moved to my Secondary school, where I am now, and I was focusing more on my studies, but I still had time for Football, especially at Break and Lunch. I needed to improve my fitness and physicality, and I have advanced loads since Primary. I am still only in Year 9, but my main focus is playing Football. In Year 8, when I was playing an football tournament, some scouts from Crewe came down to the tournament and started watching all the players, but they spotted me. They thought that I had mass talent and that they invited me for a trial. My mum and dad drove me to the training sessions for 1 week, and it was clear to see that they were impressed. I may have a slightly hot temper, but my qualities shine through, especially my Heading, Marking and Tackling. On my 14th birthday, they offered me a contract to train there until July and then they would make an offer for me if they thought I had quality. Well, turns out they did, on the 8th of July, 2014. This was my time to prove, that I have the quality!
(I know I'm catching on with the trend and that. Credit to Lippo255 for starting all this, he deserves all credit. I set my CA at 95, and my PA at -9, if that's Ok with you guys. )
