Newcastle Appoint Procter

Newcastle United have today announced the appointment of young manager Ant Procter, following the departure of former boss Chris Hughton. Ant has already expressed him intention to bring Hughton in as Assistant Manager, whilst knocking Calderwood back to the First Team Coach slot.

Procter Looks For Signings

Procter has signaled his determination to make Jack Wilshire and Robert Snodgrass Newcastle United players before the new season, he is also rumoured to be interested in Sol Campbell on a free agent. He has decided to release the whole staff set-up, and bring in his own, to ensure the work done is his, and no-one elses.

Yup, that's right, I will be starting a career as Newcastle United tonight. Unfortunatley, I will not be providing any screenshots, as I won't be on the computer I am on at the moment.

Thanks,

Ant

Anyone got any feedback for this? Just curious as to what people want in this thread.

Quality signing in Snodgrass. I have a save as Leeds, in the Europa league places, and Snoddy is still going strong.

Good luck.

I haven't actually signed him yet, just looking into signing those two players.

Made a start on this tonight, got to about November aswell, I did say I was looking at Snodgrass and Wilshire as possible signings, but because of my grand transfer budget of £0, I had to look at free transfers and loan deals. I ended up not selling anyone, and bringing in two Premier League Re-jects on loan, and 5 free transfers, whom all have top league experience.

Signed
Christian Vieri (Free)
Dejan Stefanovic (Free)
Henri Camara (Free)
Johann Vogel (Free)
Danny Mills (Free)
Jordan Henderson (Loan until End of Season)
Zavon Hines - 3 month loan.

Out
No-one

I will post more about how I am getting on tomorrow.

Oh right, didnt see you didnt actually sign them. Looking at your transfers, I cant say they are great signings. But hey, its your game. You should try to offload some of the bigger earners, I foundt hey drain your finances if you keep them on.

I know, they are really bad signings. Camara has been doing well, but the others are on the bench.

Newcastle United 3-0 Newcastle Reserves
(Lovenkrands, Simpon, Enrique)

Morton 1-5 Newcastle
(Ameobi, S Taylor, Coloccini, Ranger, Spear)

(Carroll, Ranger)

Falkirk 0-2 Newcastle

2009/10 Season

West Brom 0-0 Newcastle

Very frustrated after this match, we just couldn't seem to brake them down and they were very solid defensively, they will definatley be our main challengers this season.

Newcastle 3-0 Reading
(Ameobi x2, Coloccini)

Very comfortable victory, against a very weak team. They just couldn't cope with Ameobi and Lovenkrands, and it was nice to see Coloccini pop in with a goal.

Newcastle 1-2 Sheffield Wednesday
(Henderson)

What a useless performance, all over the place and we were luck to keep them at 2, on the plus side, I was happy that Henderson chipped in with a goal.

Crystal Palace 3-1 Newcastle
(R Taylor)

Not to worried about this, our performance was sensational to say the least, just in front of goal we had no profligancy, and we got what we deserved.

Newcastle 1-1 Crewe - LC - Crewe win 4-3 on pens)
(Donaldson)

Happy to be out of this, I was actually cheering them on in the shoot-out.

Newcastle 4-0 Leicester
(Carroll x2, Begovic OG, Ameobi)

Great way to end the season, delighted with this result. Leicester are struggling big time though.

That's August for you!
