Lincoln City FC - Skrill Premier to Barclays Premier League

After my Man Utd save got deleted I decided to make a new story this time with Lincoln City. This story is more of a challenge as I attempt to get Lincoln to the BPL.

Looking at the fixtures i have i good balance of hard and easy fixtures. St. Mirren wont be easy. Boston could also be difficult but i feel we can win them.

I'm also doing a Lincoln City save so it'll be interesting to see how both our saves pan out! Will be following.

Pre-Season was OK. I got to know the squad a lot better and the team got used to my tactics.
We were very poor against the Lincoln U21's after we drew 1-1. However we got our first win in a good performance against llkeston beating them 2-1. Then we had 2 defeats in a row starting with a great game at sincil bank against St. Mirren. We were 2-0 up at HT and went to lose 6-3. Our defence was also poor against Burton where we conceded another 5 goals. Good wins against Shepshed and Altrincham. Late Drama at Boston Utd 0-0 after 85' before and 86' goal from Boston player Ryan Semple. Just when we though we had been beaten Ben Tomlinson scored in the 87' to equalise and finish 1-1

Very poor start to the season! My hopes of promotion in the first season are already unlikely after 3 defeats in a row. Only 1 win in 6 games and 3 defeats puts in 17th in the table.

Player of the Month: Callum Barrett (GK)
Although we kept just 1 clean sheet our GK was our best player. We would have lost about 11-0 against Wrexham without him.

September has gone and we have mid-table form. However our win against 4th placed Salisbury did all our fans proud. We also shut alot of people up when we beat Hereford 1-0 away from home. The rest of our away form was abysmal.

Its our skipper this time with his 3 goals including his crucial spot-kick against Hyde

Its October and our form is slowly but nicely improving. A 4 game run of unbeaten games with just 1 loss. Also we qualified for The FA Cup 1st Round after a great win against Gainsbourough.

3 Goals for Waide in October should have been 4 when he missed a sitter that should have been his hat-trick against Nuneaton
