Teams in Lincolnshire are generally not good enough for the top leagues. Lincoln, in League 2. Boston, my hometown, god knows what league. Scunthorpe, Championship. Peterborough, Championship. A team from Lincolnshire has never been in the Premier league. Yet, as I write this, I have been appointed as manager of the newest team in the football league, called simply Lincolnshire FC. Taking the place of Bournemouth, who have withdrawn from the league due to financial problems, we start the league 2 season in 2009/2010 season. So here is to a good few years as amanger, hopefully making it to the top. Now, time to head to the training ground, to assess the team.

Team Assessment

At a glance, our team barely looked capable of finishing that 12th place the media have given us. We need improving in most areas. Although we are a weak team, i noticed 3a standout player.

Mel Price - 16 y.o - ST
Everyone at the club, including me, think he is the best player in the league, and at 16, can only get better. A future world beater I think.
