Hey guys reasonably long time reader new member :)

I've bitten the bullet and am trying to create my own tactics and would like a little advice (funnily enough as the title suggests).

Im playing as Derby County, in season one and am trying to play the same formation that Nigel plays with a CF and a man in the hole behind him.

To make a long story short, im struggling to get my CF into the game, he struggles to make an impact and regularly rates at low 6's high 5's.

I know this is tricky without seeing the meat but im wondering on the best method of player instruction for this sort of formation.

Currently AMC (Commons or Barazite) is set to high creative freedom, short passing and free role. Generally averaging 6.3 - 7

CF is set to Hold up ball, Low Creative Freedom and forward runs often.

Pretty much all the other options are currently mixed while i experiment.

I know its hard to comment too much without seeing the formation etc but id rather not post it just yet as its still a work in progress and i dont want ppl downloading it thinking its great.

Any suggestions, help, criticisms welcome :)

graham bayne dunfermline i was brentford i took over at christmas when they were bottom i sold mcdonald gt some money and then brought bayne i used the formation u used he scored 15 goals in 12 matches up front on his own.

try lowering his mentality a couple of notches or upping am's mentality they should link up a little better then

Ok thanks ive tried that and they seem to be linking up better.

Altho beating Forest always taints my view of a match lol

The basics look reasonable at present so just need to fine tune some specifics and hopefully itll be done
