After a week dominated by Wayne Rooney the Premier League returns with Spurs hosting Everton, Chelsea entertaining Wolves and West Ham facing Newcastle, along with a full Football League programme.

Good to see a fantastic game going on at White Hart Lane at the moment :)

But to be honest, everyone's eyes will be on the Pompey game :(

Everyone on Gillette Soccer Saturday are speaking absoloute tosh about Liverpool.

I used to like Phil Thompson but that has changed my mind about him. Saying Rafa lost his job because 7th wasnt good enough, well we are 19th now... Why do alot of the tv media lay into Rafa blaming him for this, they never say anything bad about Roy.

Anyway I think Birmingham can beat Blackpool today they are awesome at home.

Bitterly disappointed with the Sunderland game, should've and could've won it. Heskey missed a sitter (no surprise) and a couple of half-chances, but the referee was absolutely appalling. Turned down three penalties, one of which was a stonewall, and gave Sunderland the benefit in way too many 50-50s.

I'll come up with something more rational later, but Mark Halsey had an absolute shocker today.

this thread was dominated by Bristol Rovers and Reading ! :P

**** it but Stephen Ireland is rubbish!

Oh, and Richard Dunne deserves to be dropped. Albrighton needs to start. Sidwell is a waste of space.

**** it, **** it, **** it.
