Liverpool 2nd season Jan transfer window

In January 2015, 2nd season with Liverpool, sitting top, one point clear of Utd. Considering strengthening by bringing in a top class proven centre back, as Agger has proved a liability with mistakes and red cards, and also a top class Goalkeeper, as Mignolet has made too many mistakes, and his eccentricity is too high for me. I have a 25million budget which can be adjusted, but not looking to go crazy on transfer fees and wages. Have looked at the obvious options i.e. Ter Stegen, Howedes, who both cost 35-40million each!

Any suggestions? Prefer proven players at the moment to help me push on and maybe win the league! Thanks in advance.
 
Try Tin Jedvaj for CB he has been amazing for my liverpool team in 2016, for a goal keeper try looking at maxym koval (not sure about spelling) or a good keeper to be your first team gk for 2-3 years and buy 2 young high potential keepers to train up to be first choice, i bought a young norweigen regen and trained him up sent him on loan for two seasons and he came back at 19 years of age a lot better than mignolet.

How much did you get Jedvaj for? I couldn't get him!
 
Yeah, he can be had for cheap, especially since he refuses to sign a contract for Gladbach, stating their ambitions don't match. Declare interest in him a few times, and he should submit a transfer request, then you can offload him for cheap..

I signed him for 12.25 mil. I praised him in the press a lot and declared him as transfer target etc. and he was only a squad player at Roma so i snapped him up

I've been unable to get players by tapping up.
 
Nice one cheers for the suggestions, shall have a look tonight, still unsure whether to buy now and offload Mignolet and Agger or stick with them and have a look in the summer

Offload both you can find better replacements with the money! Sakho turns into a monster so play someone with him as first choice!
 
I've just managed to win the league with Liverpool in my second season...

I had Reina in goal for Mignolet & Brought in Caulker for Agger...(sold agger for 22 mill in first season though)

I take it you've moved Reina on as there has been no mention of him?

Id 100% recommend Caulker, the guy has been sensational for me and chips in with a few headed goals as well, and of course is English.
 
Yea sold Reina first season. Sitting top of league in March, didnt buy anyone in Jan so gonna invest heavily in summer, will look at Caulker
