Liverpool have announced that Brenden Rodgers has quit his post at Liverpool Football Club. Sources tell us that Bastien Lahm, relatively unknown in the football world has been approached by the club. John Henry has quoted " We are obviously sad at the departure of Brenden but we are working hard to find the replacement before the players come back from pre-season."

After hearing this do you think Bastien Lahm will get the post? Leave a comment below!

Liverpool Hire Lahm As Manager

Liverpool have hired Bastien Lahm as their new manager.

The forty-eight year old is reportedly delighted to be given the opportunity to hone his management skills at Anfield and the Reds supporters will certainly be hoping that Lahm can take their team to new heights.

What do you make of this? Right choice? Leave a comment.

<Our friendlies for pre-season>

"I am not concerned on the results for pre-season, more the performance and building up fitness.
Our first game of the season is the Merseyside Derby, so we will have to start well this season or the board may be on my back after just one game."

I will post after pre-season with the results and show you my tactics etc.

Comment how you think we will do!

"Glad to have got my first signing of the summer. We paid slightly more than we should have but to get someone this good and fight off competition from Manchester United, I think its a good deal!"

What do you think? Good buy? Leave a comment!

<Signed Milner>

"I've always liked James. I can't promise him first team football but he knows that. We paid £17.5million for him which is a lot for someone who won't play every week but I did really want him. He knew that he wasn't part of City's plans and he did help force this move. He has looked good in training so far and it will be interesting to see how he gets on when the season starts.

So far I have been very impressed with Daniel (Sturridge) and young Jerome Sinclair. Jezza won't be in my plans this season but may well be in them in years to come."

What do you think? Another good buy or would you have got someone else? And what do you think of Jerome Sinclair, does he have a future? Leave a comment!
