After years of just playing Fifa and Pro Evo ive decided to take the plunge into football management and went out and bought Football Manager, was a bargain for a tenner and now I'm well and truly addicted.
My problem is Ive started a season with Liverpool and people are probably aware that you start with a 2 million pound budget, to make funds I sold Lucas for around 10 million and then bought Angel Di Maria and a Brazilian called Mota to add an attacking threat.
The only problem is Ive found my best formation to be 4-2-3-1 and I'm stuck playing Plessis in midfield, and he makes lots of mistakes that causes me to concede a lot of goals. I'm currently in December and the transfer window is coming up, Ive got a budget of about 6.3 million and a wage budget of about £30,000 after Landon Donnovan comes in as Torres can't hit a barn door from two yards for me.
I just need a defensive midfielder that can stop me from conceding as many goals, Im currently sixth and the table and 11 points behind the leaders Man City, I put in a bid for Sportings Miguel Veloso but they came back asking me to pay around 8m and I don't really want to have to sell to buy because although our results aren't always going great my squad has a good harmony to it and all the players seem to get on
