I have completed my 1st season, this will be here now.

So a good 3rd place sees us achieve our aim of CL football. Arsenal finished 7th, City 8th!

Some great transfers there. The 2nd season update will either come today or tomorrow.

FA Cup = Won 4-3 in ET vs Spurs
Capital One Cup = Lost 1-0 in 3rd Round vs Derby
UEFA Champions League = Lost 4-4 due to Away Goals in Semi Finals vs Bayern

Sorry if you feel there is a lack of detail, will do more next season! :)

Bred, not bought. But look at all those transfers

This season was just about getting some youngsters. Next season, we will see a massive reduction of transfers to 1-2 and then no transfers in by 3rd season. :)

Does that not still go against the 'bred' part, surely this should be people who have come through the Liverpool youth system? or is that your eventual plan?

Yeah, eventually, I will have a whole youth team. I plan to sell some of these guys later for a huge profit so we have huge finances. :)

That's fair enough, although I am guessing Ibra isn't part of that philosophy :)

1 step closer! 2nd means that we have finished 3rd in the 1st season, 2nd in the 2nd season, so could this be a prospect for 1st in the 3rd season?

This was mainly about getting replacements for departing players. Moreno went for 38m, Borini for 32m!!

The Next Years: Top 5 Signings

5. Cristiano Ronaldo - £20m - 8th January 2019

View attachment 292139

Joining in 2019, as a 34 year old, Ronaldo was willing to retire here at Liverpool. He was a boss for the first 2 and a half seasons, before tailing off as he got older, and eventually retiring in 2022/23. He has remaij=ned a Favoured Personnel here at Liverpool.

4. Zlatan Ibrahimovic - £3.6m - 1st January 2015

View attachment 292133

Zlatan was unhappy at PSG, and after having offers from 4 BPL teams, he came to Liverpool. He was very consistent, but his most memorable season was in 2016/17, where he broke the still remaining BPL top scorer with 40 goals. He eventually retired in 2020/21, and is still seen as an Icon for Liverpool.

3. Leon Goretzka - £29m - 23rd August 2016

Goretzka. Oh my days. What a great guy. If you looked up the word "Consistent" then there would be his career stats there. Only 1 season where he hasn't got at least 10 assists, and a few seasons ago, in 2020/21, he proved his goalscoring worth as well with 17 goals that season! He is still only 28, and is still a class act! He is only just a Fav. Personnel here though...

2. Paul Pogba - £66m - 3rd July 2018

Beast. Pure Beast. After becoming my biggest ever signing of £66m, he has made shore that he has repaid me, by becoming amazing! Last season, he was our top goalscorer, with 23 goals, and was 3rd in the World Golden Boot: An amazing achievement for a CDM!

1. Jean-Michael Masson - £10m - 24th June 2020

I love this guy.
