right im just starting out as liverpool and would like some reccomendations for signings, and formations, cheers

I haghly suggest bringing in and biving time to youth players. I always play Danny Wilson at LB and he is pretty good but you may want to bring in someone like Conteao or Vargas. I also play Shelvey a lot as he can become amazing. I have also found that Suarez plays better on the wing that as a srtiker.

I usually play a 4-1-2-1-2, signing Moussa Sissoko and possibly a left back, Fabio Coentrao's always a good option, otherwise I struggle to find someone as reliable, available for a relatively good price.

GK - Reina
LB - Coentrao/Johnson
CB - Agger
CB - Carragher
RB - Johnson/Kelly
DM - Lucas
CM - Sissoko
CM - Meireles
AM - Gerrard
CF - Carroll
CF - Suarez

And here's the tactic I made for Liverpool, you don't have to use it but it's there if you're stuck, worked well for me anyway

For the first season you don't need anyone more in defence.

Carra/Agger/Skrtel/Soto/Wilson/Kelly for CB
Kelly/Johnson/Coentrao/Aurelio for the fullback positions.

Carragher's immense first season, and does a job second season aswell, put him on a coaching contract soon as possible, turns out to be a decent coach and his experience is vital.

And yeah Paulo Henrique's a quality player, but with my tactic I use a ball-winning midfielder and Gerrard nor Meireles really fit that role, that's why I opt for Sissoko
