Hello,

I'm going to start a new career with Hyde FC in the Conference South, and considering i've never done this before, i'd really appreciate some tips about approaching transfers, tactics and general stuff that is essential to success for Lower league.

Any players that are insane in that league would be appreciated also.

Free transfer and loans are the way to go in LLM, so try and find a decent parent club to secure loans without fees. Older players can be very useful at CM/CB because of the mental stats. Don't bother concentrating on youth as facilities are so poor at that level.

Keep tactics simple. A very rigid/rigid approach works best as well as playing long. Pace can win you consecutive promotions if you have enough of it as most players in the lower leagues are slow. I've almost gotten Ebbsfleet promoted into league two using quick wingers and fullbacks, exploiting the flanks with lots of crosses and long balls into the box to a target man.

If you can, organize friendlies against much bigger teams as you can make a lot of money through gate receipts. Try going on a decent FA Cup run as well, if you can make it to the 3rd/4th round you might end up with a premier league club and will make your clubs loads of money.

Actually I played with Solihull Moors for a bit and got a player in the youth intake that went straight into my 1st 11! So this about youth may be a misconception. Yes the youth facilities are rubbish but then again the required level for Conference is very low as well. I wouldn't invest in youth facilities or signing 'promising' players but don't dismiss your youth intake entirely :)

I signed Adam Roscoe on loan from Chorley no wage contribution required, stats don't look great but played him as an attacking target man and he got 25 league goals for me in the first season.
