Loading beta saves

I have installed the full game now and it will not load any of my save games from it.

The 'load last game' part was blank, that is fine. When I click 'load game' and click one of my saves they all say 'the game save could not be loaded'. This is happening to all of them!

Help?
 
I'm pretty sure Beta saves won't work on the full game mate, demo games will but not beta games
 
Beta saves DEFINITELY do work. I'm using mine. Must be something else wrong
 
Sorry somewhat of a thread steal, having played a couple of days when the beta first came out then haven't touched it since. Now the game is fully released is it worth carrying on with my beta save or am I going to miss out on certain things from using an early beta save?
 
You wouldn't miss out on anything, it all carries on as normal.
 
I realised I hadn't entered the code from the manual. I did that and it still does not work even after restarting steam and fm.

This sucks because I won the league with Newcastle in the 1st season and I was ready to play the 2nd season :(

I don't see anyway I can fix this. I can save and load a new save easily but he beta saves are not loading up for me :'(
 
I have just thought of something. I have just recently formatted my computer so when I installed the disk version I did not have the beta on my computer. It was a straight install to the full disk version. Will this be the problem? as I did not update from beta to full version? :/
 
Did you try sending the file to someone else you know who has FM14 to try and load it up?
It could be a file issue.
 
No, I haven't yet. But it happens with 4 different save files. At the start of beta I couldn't decide who I wanted to be so I ended up with a few saves, and none of them will open.
 
Does anyone know how to solve my problem? Surely all 4 save files for different teams can't have corrupted?!

I have played FM since 2008 and I have never had a problem with it until 2014. I have had problem after problem with this game so far but they have already been mentioned in other threads, such as low transfer offers. Is this problem for everyone? As I see people offering fixes but they don't work for me.
