I have my game installed through Steam, im going away for a week and will have limited access to an internet connection, i want to know if there is a way to load the game without an internet connection??

I really hope this is possible, as i cannot spend a week in a log cabin without FM to keep me sane

Cheers

Unfortunatly i quite sure you need a disk to play fm12 or 13 offline.

Test it out by turning of youre internet and playing

Put Steam offline before you go.

To do this, open Steam, click Steam at the top left and "Go Offline". Steam will want to restart, do this and then Steam is offline. You will notice if it is successful, the icon will change in your taskbar.

You will also notice that whenever you switch on your computer after doing this, Steam will ask you if you want to stay offline. Just agree.

Don't believe any bollocks about needing disks to play offline, or not being able to do so. It's just duff information, the offline option is designed for this situation, along with wanting to avoid updates.

If you want to test it, by all means do what I have suggested and switch your net off, see if it loads. Then you can dispel the myths. :D
