I’ve just made an offer to Real Madrid to loan Marco Asensio and agreed to pay 100% of his wages for the duration of the loan which Madrid accepted.

Madrid accepted the loan but now it’s asking me to negotiate a contract with the player? Can anyone explain why?
If I’ve agreed the wages and terms with Madrid why am I then being asked to negotiate wages/signing on fee etc with the player? Would it be for if I sign him permanently at the end of the loan? That’s all I could think of why it would be.
thanks

DO you have an obligation to buy him at the end?

I thought it was an option to buy.......
