Loan problem

I have had several problems with players being sent on loan. Often this will happen

Note the "hide on loan or trial" box tricked. Yet there are players, that are out on loan, still being shown. Often they will not come back until a few years and have often had no game time. This has effectively destroyed the careers of players such as Berthrand.

Has anyone else had this problem?

And does anyone know how to sort this out?

There was no cure, either. With Canales, it was just ludicrous. Bought him in 2010/11, then loaned him out and he didn't come back for five years. The club I loaned him to sold him, the new club didn't play him, I bought him again. He was rubbish so I sold him, yet he's still apparently in my squad!
