Loaned player playing against me???

Loaned Balanta to Roma and now have them in UCL knockout. Just seeing the team lineups and realise he's playing!!!!!

Nowhere in his contract does it say he can play against me....

I know Courtois played against Chelsea last year IRL but that was because UEFA specifically overruled it. Did they scrap the rule that a loanee cannot play against their parent club and I just didn't know?

Oh, dont matter as I still won!!! Could've sworn it was always an "allow to play against own club" clause that could be added, which I didn't.

I think that it's automatic domestically and must be checked for foreign clubs.
