This is my Wycombe Wanderers Football Club FM story.
Daily Updates will be coming.
Newspaper Articles, Screenshots, Pictures etc Coming soon.
My aim is to take newly promoted Wycombe Wanderers to new levels.
I will be using FMRTE to edit finance and finance only. This will be to enhance my story
and to make it more interesting.
So, I hope you will enjoy my story which will hopefully last for a while (H)

Not wanting to argue or jump on your back but wouldn't it be a better challenge to do it without editing your finances?

Same as Ben, not looking for an argument etc, but I really see no point in using FMRTE in a story, and personally won't be following because of this.

However, good luck :)

I wont be using the FMRTE to give myself £50 million or something stupid like that. If anything I will use it to give me less money etc to make the story more interesting. So, say in two seasons time, Wycombe Wanderers are bought by someone in my story, I will give myself more cash. But before that happens I might end up like Pompey which could lead to me joining a new club. FMRTE will make this story interesting dont you worry ;). But I will start off giving myself a bit of cash.
Update in a bit x

THE SUN
Alex Church who was one of Tottenhams most prolific strikers to ever walk down the tunnel of White Hart Lane has joined Wycombe Wanderers as manager of the team. Church, who grew up in Wycombe used to go to almost every game they played at Adams Park and even away games. Church idolised them and it was Wycombe that got him playing for their youth team until Tottenham snapped him up for an undiclosed fee. Since then Church played over 500 games for Tottenham scoring some 300 goals for the club. The decision to become manager of Wycombe comes as a shock to many footballing followers as Church has only just recently retired from Football having injured his ankle badly. Church released this statement to us: 'I am proud to become manager at a club in which i used to watch every match they played'. There will be more about this in following days.

Interview with Sky Sports
Sky Sports - Alex, you have just joined Wycombe a mere two days ago. Have you got any plans in your head, anyone you want to kick out and bring in ?
Alex Church - Well, I have decided to keep all behind the scenes staff such as coaches. I've also decided to keep Martin Kuhl on as assistant manager. As for the team, I will be delving into the transfer market as soon as I can.

Sky Sports - Is it true that Wycombe have no money at all. If this is the case the only signings you can make are free transfers and loans.

Alex Church - Yes, this is the case. Which is why I will be pumping £1,000,000 into the club which will give me enough money to make some signings.

Sky Sports - £1,000,000 of your own money ? It seems that you have a plan of action in your head. Where do you see yourself and Wycombe Wanderers in say, 8 years time ?

Alex Church - Honestly, I can see Wycombe Wanderers in the top division and I can see me there with them guiding them to silverware.

Sky Sports - Ok, thanks for being here Alex. We at Sky Sports wish you all the best and hope to see you making the headlines soon.

Alex Church - Thankyou.

Wycombe Wanderers v Newcastle (Pre Season Friendly Match One) Score: 1-1
In a match where Newcastle should have came away with a win, Wycombe managed to get a draw in a well fought match from the underdogs. Newcastle had 2% more possession than Wycombe did but it didn’t show as Wycombe had 13 shots in total, 5 more than Newcastle. New signings Daniel Mathijssen, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas & ***** Topp played well for the Chair boys whereas Gael Kakuta didn’t have the best of games averaging a 6.3. Overall, The Chair Boys came away with a result they will be delighted with and as for Alex Church, a draw against a side who are expected to be in the Premier Division next season is definitely signs of talent and his ambitions coming true. Final Score 1-1

Wycombe Wanderers v Ipswich Town (Pre Season Friendly Match Two) Score: 3-2
This was another match that the away team were expected to take a comfortable win against newly promoted league 1 side Wycombe Wanderers. However, Wycombe showed they were no push overs at Adams Park that night when they beat Ipswich 3-2. Kakuta opened his account with his first ever Wycombe goal with a well placed shot from the edge of the box. The next two goals to follow were both Wycombe goals from Revell & Pittman. By half-time Wycombe were 3-0 up and cruising. The 70th minute saw Ipswich grab a goal via Quinn & the 92nd minute saw Wycombe only have a one goal lead through a looping header over the top Steve Arnold. Wycombe hung on until the final whistle. Cesar, Kakuta & Emmanuel-Thomas; all new signings for Wycombe played in the match. All of them playing well especially Emmanuel-Thomas. Final Score 3-2

Portadown v Wycombe Wanderers (Pre Season Friendly Match Three) Score 0-6
The bookies were very wrong in this match. Prior to the match, the match was being dubbed as a bore draw, however coming off the back of a win against Ipswich Town must have spurred the Chair boys on as they trounced Portadown 6-0. The highlight of the game being Daniel Pacheco scoring on his debut just days after joining on loan from Liverpool. The first goal of the game came in the 19th minute. The goal being scored by Pacheco. Goal number 2 game from Emmanuel-Thomas in 24th munute. Sandrinho managed to sneak another goal in just before halftime. The goals in the 68th minute and the 74th minute came from one man, Gael Kakuta. The goal spree was finished by Jon-Paul Pittman in the 80th minute. 5 of the 6 goals were scored by the new signings at Wycombe Wanderers and this now means that Church is still to lose a game, being in charge of Wycombe Wanderers. Final score 0-6

The Rest of Pre Season
Wycombe Wanderers v Bournemouth. Score: 4-1
Northampton v Wycombe Wanderers. Score 0-6
Stafford v Wycombe Wanderers. Score 0-7
Wycombe Wanderers v Wolves. Score 2-0

Scorers in the last 4 matches of Pre Season:
Jay Emmanuel-Thomas x1
Sandrinho x3
Pacheco x8
Cesar x1
Jon-Paul Pittman x2
Kakuta x4

Overall Summary of Pre Season
Wycombe Wanderers performed very well over the entire pre season. They trained hard, they played well and their efforts were rewarded with 6 wins out of 7. If Wycombe can continue to play like this throughout the season, I can see no reason why they cant be in the Championship next season. They certainly showed they were no push overs beating Ipswich Town & Wolverhampton Wanderers & drawing with Newcastle. The player that performed the best had to have been Pacheco. He scored 9 goals in 5 games for Wycombe. John Bostock came in 2nd for performance averaging 8.38 in 5 games and claiming 7 assists but no goals. In 3rd place it had to be Gael Kakuta with 7 goals & 4 assists in 7 games averaging 8.03.
