The last 4 seasons Manchester became the football city of England. Where are the London teams, can the London teams take back the premier league glory? Can they show that the capital is not only England's capital but also the football capital of England? In this story I am taking over Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea to restore London as the football capital of England.
Wenger leaves Arsenal
View attachment 273989Arsene Wenger resigned as Arsenal manager, Wenger joined Arsenal as manager in 1996. He transformed Arsenal from boring Arsenal to a side that plays attractive attacking football. Under the management of Wenger Arsenal won a lot of throphies. However the manager who managed the invincibles suffered a dry spill with the FA Cup in 2005 being the last trophy for the Gunners. Last year this was called out by Mourinho when he described Wenger as a specialist in failing, this remark came back to bite Mourinho in the end because Arsenal won the FA Cup last season. With that thropy Wenger feels that it is time to pass the scepter to a new manager. But who will succeed him? Linked with Arsenal are Jürgen Klopp, Dennis Bergkamp, Thierry Henry, Joachim Löw and Frank Rijkaard.
Mauricio Pochettino was appointed to be the manager who would lead Tottenham back to success, however he decided to resign. Pochettino delivered great work at Southampton with good football and lots of young players developping, it was no surprise that Tottenham wanted to give Pochettino a chance at White Heart Lane. Pochettino insisted in signing Davies, Dier and Fazio to name a few examples. Tottenham signed those players, so why Pochettino resigned is still a mistery. Pochettino didn't want to react. The following managers have been named as possible replacements: Frank de Boer, Edgar Davids, Sam Allardyce, Gustavo Poyet and Mircea Lucescu.
There are few trainers as controversial as José Mourinho. No one can deny that he is a successfull manager but his park the bus football style is being hated by the majorty of football fans. Roman Abramovic wanted success that is why he brought Mou back to Chelsea, but in his first year back it wasn't a success no thropies and using a very defensive playstyle Mourinho didn't show his worth to Arbamovic. After a despute about the signings of Chelsea, Mourinho decided to resign. Decide for yourself if Mourinho was right he wanted Edinson Cavani, Ricardo Rodriguez and James Rodríguez and got Diego Costa, Cesc Fàbregas and Filipe Luis. Who will Abramovic appoint as new manager? Jürgen Klopp, Jimmy Hasselbaink, Gianfranco Zola, Pep Guardiola and Rafa Benitez are linked to Chelsea.
