Long Shot question

I have a regen player, great long shot aswell as being fast and skillfull.. the problem is that i have set his long shot to sometimes and have noticed that his shooting more than running past players and this is causing wasted chances.

Question is do i set his long shot to rarely in a hope that he runs more or keep it at sometimes where he does score from?

No, the situation where his odds to score are the highest won't be determined by how often the player takes shots from afar, it's
decided by the 'Decisions' attribute of the player.

Thanks guys il make the change. Also if I ask him to develop PPM of shoots from range, maybe then he will still score?

I know decisions plays a role.

However in my game, having them shoot rarely always seems to get me a higher long shot goal percentage.

i think montarro was trying to say he won't take a long shot unless he's confident it will go in rather then trying them whenever he gets the opportunity.
