Looking for a midfield dynamo

Just started a save as Bolton, and don't really have a class centre mid, Mark Davies is ok, only great stat is passing, Muamba hasn't fully developed yet, and although class in real life, Holden lacks the stats on FM. Have raised some funds and have about £1.5m to spend, and want a centre mid who can run the midfield and try and help me cope against opposition attackers, any ideas?

Had a look at Annan, Spartak had already offered something like 3 and a half million for him..
Got Eriksen on loan from Ajax, which allowed me to get Leigh Griffiths from Dundee, as I have heard he can bang in a few goals..
